About an hour ago I sent this to a friend and said "winning".
Then I put my phone next to me and a shirt over my eyes. 20 minutes later, my phone was gone.
That's what I get for all my talk about how we feel so safe in Europe and never see crime.
I lost photos since April 4th, and have been behind on posting here, so some good times we had will never make it up here.

San Sebastián - I've been training for a 25k run/race later this month in Senija, Spain.
I expect it to be brutal, and Valencia is totally flat so all my training has been flat.
But here in San Sebastián there are some good hills so I've been taking advantage.
Today Miles insisted on training with me.
We had an amazing time. We ran along the waterfront, walked around the cliffs, found coffee and donuts, then went for a cold dip in the ocean. Then a few hours later we went back in the ocean.

San Sebastián for the win.
We flew in this morning.
Waited 30 minutes for the bus at the airport. When we got on, we realized they only accept cash, and we didn't have enough. A nice woman whom we had been talking to in line ran up and paid €10 for us and refused to accept the €7 we did have.
We then ran into her again a couple hours later at this epic bar overlooking the ocean, after an unforgettable lunch of pintxos.
Unbelievable setting, weather and food, so far.

I went to another Founders Dinner here in Valencia last night. I was invited to the group by a guy I met in Lisbon in October at MicroConf. Each time, the group is a little different than the one before.
Last night, there were six of us, each from a different country: Italy, Serbia, Sweden, Ireland, a Canadian who now lives in Russia, and myself.
Each of these dinners is so fun and inspiring, and everyone comes from such a different background, yet we all have so much in common. I always find their various businesses interesting.
The guy from Serbia runs a company that generates clothing labels for some of the biggest fashion brands in the world and has sat across the table from CEOs of such companies. Another guy created a popular software for restaurants. Another recently sold a freelancer marketplace, and so on. I always love hearing how people from all parts of the world and all walks of life are finding their way.
