For @tdchristmas I got auversblue (Twitter) ! His art is so mesmerizing that I had to push my limits ! I was mainly inspired by his rich, almost baroque style and flowing robes to do this piece.

Do you ever just draw something and at first you say “oh this is going to be a quick thing” but then you end up making it super detailed and complex?

He liked to be a forest apparition.

Getting so used to be a shadow that that blends in the darkness, he forgot how to not track, not sculk, not prowl -  even with HIM. Now he observed the urru from a distance.

How he prepares his meal (meat being in urVa’s diet always delighted him, it was so different and absolutely natural at the same time). How he fixes his broken robe he gifted him few trine ago. Deliciously not needing any help from the Weaver.

He looked from the tree branch, silent, yet now harmless to the subject of his curiosity. Not completely, as their mutual undestanding didn’t prolong on the hunt itself and skekMal liked to prove his point. But harmless by deeper meaning of this word. He simply liked his counterpart, as different and as similar as he was, always, restlessly.

If urVa knew about his presence, he didn’t care. But judging by his light smile, which he wore like a second skin, he was aware of Hunter’s observing eye.

Two teas. Yes, you expected me, didn’t you, Archer?

You always know when I am in need of your company. After all, we are almost one.

And let it stay that way, his fangs bared in a grin.

Because only as almost one, they could be themselves with each other.

And it would be a pity to lose such a skilled tea maker.

Hunting for smaller creature was good to feed the hunger, when he needed to restore strength. Hunger was good to keep him on his toes but fresh meat was always a good thing, especially when he needed his usual skill intact.

He wouldn’t be a skeksis though, if he ate only meat.

The gelfling tales portrayed him as bloodthirsty creature, tearing the flesh with his fangs and drinking blood. What a shock would they experience, if they saw him making a vegetable soup or preparing a fruit dish.

He knew perfectly that his kind would not survive only on meat. Besides, fruits and vegetables were maybe not as tasty as freshly caught prey, but still good, by their own.

The feeling of drinking the marhuk juice strightly from its core was sublime and he would never resign from it, just to fulfill some mad impressions he was making on the little ones.

skekAyuk taught him too much taste, with his delicious cakes, candied fruits and his famous thousand recipes. And even if he could never compare himself to the Gourmand - in terms of food - he was taught indeed - to enjoy the many things Thra had to offer.

The skeksis were, after all, higher creatures. They were in their right to have Thra on their plate.

Hmm, I honestly put skekMal in Gryffindor. Even if skeksis could fit Slytherin by default, I think a lot of them have qualities than fit other houses. I mean, skekSil is certainly a snake but Mal… too honest, straightforward, and bold. The same with Var.

Gelfling OC’s x Hogwarts

Because of @skekmal-hunter i thought about in which Hogwarts houses my Gelfling OCs would be in X’D So Have fun~ Oona: Ravenclaw! Of course! Clever science girl :D Ahrys: Hufflepuff. She is also very smart but also a loyal and hard working Gelfling. So Hufflepuff it is. Rana: Gryffindor! She is bold. Has no Fears. I think it’s suits her well. Bijou: Hufflepuff. She is so kind and sweet. But also fair and patient. Lys: Slytherin! She could has been a Gryffindor but since her character chenged so much she become a true Slytherin! Zion: Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I’m not sure with it. Hmmm… Maybe more of a Hufflepuff than a Gryffindor. He is a loya and faithful soul Faizah: Ravenclaw! She is a philosopher. Very smart and Clever and sharp-minded! Therra: Hufflepuff! :’D She is too cute and naive for any other house… Safiya: Gryffindor maybe… I mean she is so bold and does a big frightening journey of her own just to help her little sister. I think it’s suiting Hilja: Ravenclaw. Individual and creative x3 Nimue: Hufflepuff i think. Friendly, loyal and faithful. Naira: Hufflepuff to. Doesn’t fears to work very very hard! Bonus - the Podling Tidus: Gryffindor maybe. He is brave and bold. Also Loyal and faithful like a Hufflepuff but idk i think its Gryffindor. And i’m laughing hard because my favourite House is Slytherin and just one Gelfling suits in it :D
