"Mornings Like This"

Summary: A little bit of how your mornings with Namor were.

Pairing: Namor x Fem!Reader

Warnings: Pure fluff and slight smut

A/N: I've been away from Tumblr for a while and I recently had a creative spurt that resulted in three different stories, and this is one of them! Sorry for possible grammatical errors and please enjoy!

Namor loved mornings like this.

The opportunity to wake up next to you could only have been a gift sent from a divine being. Seeing her smooth face, slow breathing, and the little crease forming between your brows was quite a sight for him.

His dark eyes would travel to your parted lips, luscious and pouty, then down to your neck, where love marks adorned it, a beautiful reminder of the night before.

The memory of having you on top of him with your eyes closed and lips parted in pure ecstasy was fresh in his mind. You looked absurdly heavenly, a true goddess.

The memories flowed freely through the king's mind, in a complete trance of love and adoration.

"You're looking" You would say without opening your eyes, the low voice making him smile. "It's not my fault you look so wonderful in the morning" Namor retorts earning a small grimace from you, he would give that husky chuckle that never failed to send butterflies in your stomach. "You say that because you love me" You would answer by opening one of your eyes, seeing the image of your loved one smiling in front of you.

Your hand would go up to his face. Namor had always been as wonderful and fierce as the stories told. But having him there, in the vulnerability of their shared bed, stirred the rawest, most beautiful emotions in her chest.

"They say that life is better when you are loving and being loved" He would reply now kissing the palm of your hand. The beard tickled.

The kisses would make their way to your neck, covering the love marks with the light touch of his lips making you moan in satisfaction. Namor's simple touch would make you melt beneath him, he knew the effect he had on you and would always use it to get the best reactions out of you. He would easily reach your lips, in a slow and lazy kiss. His hands running over your body again, tracing the familiar curves.

You would leave a bite on his bottom lip, making him smile. Namor never hid the effect you had on him, he was devoted to your existence, capable of moving seas and lands if it meant your happiness.

In that bubble of happiness, you and Namor would start your day, light and warm, showing each other how deeply you loved each other.
