Im sorry if im wrong but shadow how do you feel about the term gender apathetic it's a label that means you have very little to no need for gender like you would be fine with any terms people apply to you cause you don't care about gender or on the other hand there's a agender which describes the feeling of little to no gender though it's completely ok if you would rather leave it unlabeled for whatever reasons you may have like labels not fully describing what you feel or it just not being a priority to label that part of yourself

Sonic, you probably don't like to talk about it, but there's something I've been wondering: have you ever had intense nightmares about the events of when you were imprisoned for six months or on the Starfall Islands? Or any other crazy or traumatizing moment in your life? Or maybe even when you tried to save Shadow from falling in space?

I'm asking because if you were living alone before moving in with Shadow, dealing with nightmares would be rough considering what you've been through. But now that you and Shadow live together, and also married, he would comfort you in the best way possible, if you do go through nightmares, of course.

I'm just a sucker for post-nightmare comfort, and I bet Shadow is the best at scaring away bad dreams like the cool Ultimate Lifeform he is.

Yeah, the 'having a great time being Super together in space and then suddenly Shadow slips through my fingers and falls to his death and I'm too slow to save him' dream was a biggie for a while. Like pretty much every night until a good... six months after I found out he was alive? Pfft, how lame is that! I didn't even like the guy back then! I still get it, sometimes... waking up feeling like my lungs can't get any air, like I'm still in space. Fuuuuun.

Then after my whole... forced vacation on the Death Egg, I didn't want Shadow anywhere near me. I don't even know why. Everything just felt... off? And I barely slept. Couldn't... deal with what I might see if I closed my eyes. Spent a lot of my nights just... running. Avoiding the problem.

Me 'n' Shads argued a whole lot around that time. Almost broke up a bunch of times. Honestly thought we were over when he stormed out a few days before I got swept up in everything on the Starfall Islands.

When I got back I was so relieved to see Shadow I just... slept. For hours. No dreams. Just dead asleep. And then I moved in, 'cause the thought of dealing with it all alone again was just... I couldn't.

Yeah, Shadow's good for nightmare comfort. Especially if I dream about losing him. He's pretty good at reminding me that he's here and he's real and he's not going anywhere.
