Daughter is my bachelor puppet animation drama. The film’s key theme is the father-daughter relation, a very personal and important topic to me. To draw viewers into my world of memories, I made the film with a hand-held camera feel, big close-ups, low depth of field and a lot of motion, lending it an authentic immediacy and a para-documentary nature. To show the characters’ emotions with facial expressions, I paint the eyes directly on the puppets’ faces, giving them a lot of life and an intensive expression of the characters’ emotions.

Pause 2017 Opening Titles from zaoeyo on Vimeo.

This year's theme of Pause is "Different Perspective".

The whole idea was inspired by an anime called "Digimon Adventure", whose opening scenes show the different angle of a night city and digital creatures.Therefore, we decide to focus on a different angle or perspective of empty cities, to express a feeling of isolation, despite the fact we live in these spaces. The idea of using a cat for guidance is borrowed from an indie game called "HK", which will enhance the feeling of isolation between human and their environment. Also this is all CGi made in Cinema 4D with Octane Render.

P.I.C.S.は、Panasonicが発表した高速プロジェクションマッピングシステムのデモコンテンツを制作致しました。 世界初公開となったこちらは、プロジェクションマッピングの新たな形として、マーカーレスで人などの対象物に高速で追従してマッピングを行うプロジェクタ技術。

弊社ではデモコンテンツとして、映像とダンサーによるインスタレーションを企画し、プログラミングから映像制作までを担当しました。解析から表示まで、わずか0.001秒なので、映像がダンサーの動きと形状にぴったりと追従し、今までにないパフォーマンスとなりました。プリレンダーのモーシ���ントラッキングによるプロジェクションマッピングとは一線を画した革新的な技術となり、今後様々な応用展開が期待されます。
