Hawkeye’s favorite color being red. cheery red. red because it’s the direct opposite of drab army green. red itself being a form of protest. red symbolizing the protest against american militarism central to hawkeye’s character.

and on the other hand

red being the color of blood. red blood splatter painting hawkeye’s scrubs in every episode. red blood covering hawkeye’s hands as he desperately tries to patch up the holes the army has put in men, women, and children’s bodies.

I like the way she ducks under his arm and i like how much stuff is happening in this shot it starts with a guy moving boxes right in front of the camera and weve got people all the way off at the bulletin board too. The camp is very alive and busy its veeeeery directed by alan alda if you know what i mean (it was directed by alan alda). I also like that she rejects him haha loser.
