Happy Birthday Shark Boy!
I love this man so much. He played a big part of my highschool years since I saw myself in him: appearing calm outside but is actually a big crybaby.
I love his color scheme; I really like red, black, and white combo.
Most of all, I love how he indistinctly show his love for his childhood friends who are his swimming rivals.
I don’t want this to be more cringy or cheesy as it already is, so I want to end this post with a a thank you.
Thank you for existing and helping me throughout high school.

Celebration of the Whale
Happy Birthday Makoto!
I appreciate how you care for everyone like a father. You worked so hard to get where you are.
While I did not like you at first, I grew to love you and your selflessness. I aspire to be you, and I’m working on that right now.
Thank you for inspiring me to better myself and be kinder to others

Kim Woojin, I cannot keep believing in you anymore
Kim Woojin, what the fuck?
You were such an iconic member in Stray Kids with your fascination with fried chicken and your vocals. Despite being the oldest member, you acted like one of the youngest which is not a bad thing.
However, the rumors and allegations came out. That’s where my perspective on you change. The allegations are on another level of bad. Assaulting your members, coworkers, and even females?! Are you that power hungry being the older one? There’s way too much allegations out that shows that there is something wrong with you. It might not be to this extent, but there is something if there is so much out.
Let’s say all the allegations are not true. His reactions to the event is not okay. The company he is supposedly under is very suspicious. The company became public as soon as the allegations begin. With the timing, it is easy to think that Kim Woojin made the fake company to make himself less bad. Then, he tried to make posts as if he was going to vacation; it is easy to tell that it was a photoshop job. Another thing: the “official” post made by the supposed company is way too informal for a company. People have speculated that Kim Woojin wrote this. Then, the company’s original logo was stolen from a furniture company. Big red flag there.
At this point, Kim Woojin’s reactions after the allegations are too suspicious for an innocent person. I cannot keep standing by this man silently anymore. This is my goodbye letter to him. I was hoping for his comeback, but I just want justice for those who he wronged and for him to learn from his actions.
Goodbye, Woojin. Get better

A Wonderful Day with my Swimmer Bae
Happy Birthday Sousuke!
I love him so much. It breaks my heart that he has a really bad case of arthritis in your shoulders. I hope he continues with his joy and staying at Rin’s side.
While I didn’t see him much in the show until season 2( I have not watched season 3 yet), I am excited to see more scenes with him.

Be Yourself
One of Chungha’s recent song, Be Yourself, is obviously a promotion song for Sprite. The green and yellow color scheme reflects the can, and you can see the cans throughout the music video.
I really like the song. I guess you can say that it was refreshing to actually hear a summery song (all the pun intended). It gives a great message about staying true to yourself. The uplifting beat, also, gets me in the mood to dance, which doesn’t happen often.
The video is fairly simplistic. Chungha is singing the song on a green screen, then effects are added. Then, we see a man do sports and other stuff in a more decorated set. I’m bad at explaining it since there is not as much action in the video. I do enjoy the video, but it is hard for me to keep track in some moments due to the monochrome look. Chungha or the actor sometimes camouflage in the background for me.
I would definitely recommend this song for anyone who wants a summery tune. I am not sure if I would put this song on repeat often, but I definitely would listen to it if it pops up on my feed.

Dream High S1: The Start of Dreams
Dream High, as the name implies, is a drama that surrounds about students attending a musical based academy, Kirin High School of Art, in hopes to becoming celebrities. The name makes the theme of the show evident; dreams are involved.
The protagonists are
Song Sam-Dog, played by Kim Soo-Hyun, is a country boy who discovered his musical talent while attending the academy.
Ko Hye-mi, performed by Bae Suzy, is a popular girl who is the main girl of the love triangle.
Jason, presented with Wooyoung, is a exchange student who is well-known for his dancing.
Taecyeon played Jin-Gook, a troubled teen who is also gifted at dancing.
IU plays Kim Pil-suk, a vocalist who is on the bigger side.
With its all-star cast and romance intensive drama, this show exemplifies the teen drama. I recommend this show for anyone who is in high school or younger. The acting is not horrendous, considering most of these people are first-time actors. I would not watch it now, but it was good at the time of release.
Spoilers below!
I watched this show as it came out originally around 2012. While there are issues with the show, it is not horrendous. It’s most of the actors’ first time performing so I did not take that much into account. The theme is cute, but the execution is odd at times. The characters always stray from their goal, but some random event gets thrown in that keeps them on track.
My issue is with character development. (You’ll see this way more in the sequel). I felt that Hyo-mi’s motivation gets lost as the show progresses. She does grow, but it seems inconsistent with her motivation.
The antagonist of the show is so heartbreaking. If I recall right, she acted the way she did out of jealousy and revenge for betraying. The dynamics between Becky and Hye-mi is very powerful and well done; I really like the dynamics between the two.
The love triangle had nothing. It was hyped up in the beginning, but nothing happens in the end. No one really gets a happy ending romantically.
My favorite couple is Pil-suk and Jason. Their subplot is more interesting and enjoyable than the main triangle. It feels more wholesome. The main qualm is that the couple suffered the misunderstanding trope. Pil-suk always has a chance regardless of her weight, but Jason never communicated it. I don't think Pil-suk really hid the fact that she liked him. OMG! I just realized Jason is a tsundere. Well, they still the best. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

Don’t Be a Killer Hyolyn
One of Hyolyn’s recent song, 9Lives, gives off vibes that it’s a ballad. The music video is a choreography video with another dancer.
I really like the song if I want an emotional moment. The vocals sound amazing, and the visuals are ethereal. Hyolyn is dressed in a ballet dancing like outfit of a taupe top and black leggings.
However, with how great the song is, this isn’t the type of song I would listen often. It isn’t my style nor did it captivate me enough to remember it.
From watching the video, I could tell the choreo is telling a story. What it is though? No idea. I think I would need to know the lyrics to understand the story told.
This is a short post since while I enjoyed the song, it’s hard for me to describe since the story is something I couldn’t grasp.

Sabagebu
This gag anime could be summed up into one phrase: high school girls hanging out with each other in an air soft club. There isn’t really much plot so you can watch any episode (except for the last two) in any order.
The characters are fun to watch, even if they tick the character archetypes that exist in any other anime
The protagonists are:
Momoka Sonokawa, the sadistic protagonists who is the newest member of the Survival Game Club.
Mio Otori, the president and founder of the club with a strong fascination with anything air soft related.
Kayo Gotokuji, the quiet cosplayer who is quite vengeful.
Maya Kyodo, a model who exists to be sexualized.
Urara Kasugano, the newly-turned masochist who is obsessed with Momoka.
This show is great if you want a comedy show. However, some of the jokes are really immature so it might not be for everyone on the older side. I do recommend this show if you want to watch a parody. There are some pop references that make the show dated in the upcoming future, but it won’t be obvious enough to dissuade the younger generations.
I love this show. The antics are so ridiculous to the point that something is wrong if nothing occurs. I also enjoy how there isn’t a need to watch most of the show in sequential order so it would be easier to watch if it ever airs on television again.
My favorite character is Kayo (I’m a sucker for blue hair characters) after the first episode. I love her introduction with the ghillie suit. From that point on, I watched the show to find her to see what outfit she is in or what she’s going to do. I also love her cosplay and her attitude with everything; I sort of aspire to be her.
Another favorite character of mine is Kamo. The mysterious creature always keep me on my toes, waiting to see what he does. There’s even a episode dedicated to everyone trying to figure out what Kamo is. I really enjoy him as the new mascot of the Survival Game Club.
There are so many iconic scenes. I found the show through a Youtube video of kamo fighting the main characters with guns while running away with Crabby. I love this duo since they easily got along. Another infamous scene is when Momoka goes into a air soft fight with her mother because she refuses to eat brocoli. The extremeity of the case is funny yet it feels completely normal in context of the show.
This is one of my favorite show due to its absurdity. I watched it with my best friend, and we had the time of our lives

Hot Spring Antics Continue
The gang is back is to fight the hateful enemies and monsters again after some time. This time, they are working together with the previous villains to fight this season’s new villains. In the end, they learn that they are on an intergalactic tv show (possibly breaking the 4th wall?)
The crazy antics continue, but let’s introduce the new characters.
The new villains have a duo involved. They are intergalactic celebrities who idolize a former battle warrior. The first half the duo is Akihiko Beppu, who is typically on the left side. Haruhiko Beppu is normally on the right. The way you distinguish between them is their tongue and expressions. Haruhiko has bad manners while Ahihiko has a harsher way of speaking.
Another significant character is Gora Hakone, the main protagonist’s older brother who is a former battle warrior. He now maintains the hot spring while watching over Yumoto.
The crazy antics continue and the audience gets to see the characters grow, especially with the impending separation between the third years and everyone else. If you like the first season, you will like this season. The only difference is the plot twist and Yumoto’s change.
More below!
I really like this season more than the previous one since everyone feels more complex. I got to see more of Yumoto and see his internal dilemma. I also feel that the characters are more relatable. It has been awhile since I have watched it, but it is more memorable to me than the first season.
The borderline incestual relationship between the Beppu brothers weird me out, but it is expected of an anime. I love the brotherly competition, but it parallels the relationship between En, Atsushi, and Kinshiro. I guess it somewhat makes sense because the first parallel is resolved; it’s hard to read a review of the show if nothing really happens (or it’s the same stuff as the previous season).
It is a satisfying conclusion to the arc though. I felt as if most conflicts got resolved (with a hot spring hang out).

Update time ;u;
Since school is starting for me next week, I cannot guarantee two posts a week. However, I will do one post a week on fridays.
Since I won’t be as active, let’s have a little get to know me. :D
I’m currently in my last year of college and working on getting in my school’s credential program for teaching.
I’m currently watching:
-Aggretsuko S2 with my boi
-Yugioh GX S2 with a friend
I like to watch one thing at a time so the list sort of hurts me ;u;
I also base my posts on things I have played or watched (I’m also a completionist with shows and books).
No one in my personal life knows about this blog because I’m too embarrassed to let them know ;u;

Delinquents on their Own
The 100 television series is loosely based on the work of the same name by Kass Morgan. (I’ll explain why later).
The premise of the story is that 100 teen delinquents from the Ark, a space station where most of humanity resides in, are sent back onto Earth to analyze their potential of moving back there. The audience watches the teens adjust to their new surrounding while going through puberty.
The main characters of the season are...
Clarke Griffin, played by Eliza Taylor, the daughter of two prominent figures in the Ark.
Wells Jaha, played by Eli Goree, the son of the Ark leader and Clarke’s best friend.
and Finn Collins, played by Thomas McDonell, Clarke’s love interest who has a friends with benefits relationship with his childhood best friend.
The show does a good job establishing the general theme and direction the show will take. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in teen drama or post-apocalyptic worlds. The show has many flaws, but if you can overlook it for its concept, then go right ahead.
Spoiler opinions below!
The show heavily strays from its source material after the third episode. IIRC Wells, who dies in the third episode of the series, doesn’t die in the novels. Also, there are different characters from each work that play the same role. I never read the series too much so I cannot fully go into detail on how different the novel is from the television series.
My favorite character started out as Wells. His genuine care for Clarke is worth taking note of while he is one of the few characters that held onto civility. However, that changed when I learned about Octavia’s and Bellamy’s back story. While they are major assholes, there is a reason why they act the way they did. Also, their character development is impeccable.
I like how it could relate to the real world if you look at the themes and everything symbolically. It is obvious that teens and young adults are the intended audiences with sex and romance. I wish they focused more on the morals and dilemmas revolving around living on foreign land with no guidance.
Some scenes are way too dark to see anything. While it is understandable why the scenes are so dark, not many things happen during the day time. Even character development typically occurs during the night. Another issue I have is how many things are glossed over if it doesn’t involve Clarke. She is the protagonist, yes, but other characters exist. I wish there were more interactions between characters outside of Clarke. Monty and Jasper are the best friend duo, but that’s all they’re known for.
TLDR; most characters are pretty bland other than Clarke. The world is interesting and I wished they built on it more. However, since there will be more seasons, it is not that bad of a negative.

When will Yandere Simulator be released?
This is an old topic, but it’s been on my mind. The drama between Yandev and Yansim fan games will not be the focus here.
I want to talk about the game itself. Some parts may seem like an attack towards the creator, but it relates to the game.
First thing first, the length of the time. I feel like the game is gonna be like that one Duke Nukem game that pretty much ended that franchise. We’re reaching that point in length, and not much as been added. The game still takes up a lot of RAM due to the coding (I believe that’s what happened). If I am wrong with the explanation, I know for sure that the game takes a toll on my laptop. With 6 years of work, I expect more polish or closer to completion.
Now, let’s look at a counterargument: “a masterpiece needs time.” While I do typically agree with that statement, I cannot apply that emotion with this game. The game is 3 years behind schedule. Sure it’s great for Yandev to create the game on his own, but he had many opportunities to have volunteers or partners to assist him. However, any kind of help tends to go away for some reason.
Finally, the story line is a jumbled mess. It started out with a girl eliminating a rival to reach her senpai. Now it’s a girl facing many rivals. There isn’t really a story line that connects all the rivals together. Also, there is supposed to be a main girl; she ain’t done yet. I feel like Yandev should focus on finishing her so the people can play test her. At this point, he’s adding so much content in the updates to the point that the audience do not need to buy the final game to beat it.

To Another Year of Sunshine
Happy birthday Nagisa Hazuki!
I love his optimism and his willingness to be reunited with his swimming friends and recreate the swimming club.
At first, I didn’t like him because he’s not my type. However, as the series progressed, he became more human. I really want to protect him from all of the hardships in the world.
All, his gag is top notch. Can’t deny the good food.

Somi’s Drunk and Faded Love
Somi’s latest song, What You Waiting For, takes a more mature approach to one-sided love.
As previously stated, the song focuses on one-sided love. The love interest is leading Somi on, telling her she’s perfect then seemingly taking it back. Somi then begins to doubt the legitimacy of the SO’s love for her, thus she then puts the person in a situation of keeping or leaving her.
I love the glam looks in this comeback compared to the debut looks. She is dressed her age, a teenage that’s approaching adulthood. Now, the other looks could be more her style. But, it’s hard for the audience to see her in that look when she doesn’t typically dress in it.
On a side note, the music video gave me similar vibes to Jennie’s Solo. The glam looks juxtaposed against the normal scenery emphasize the attitude presented in the music video is the prime example of a Black Label song.
While Somi is a young person, I feel like the other song is too young for her. This song isn’t the best, but there are some catchy lines and a decent rhythm. Meanwhile, the chorus and song is mostly English, resulting in people debating if the song should count as Kpop. I think it should because it came out in Korea and ticks the Korean trend. Because Somi seems to have a more international appeal than home-base one, it makes no sense if Somi’s music does not attract those outside of Korea.
The song exudes confidence, but her live performances do not. While that makes sense because she is performing solo, I do not think her vocals could live up to what the song could actually be. And I can’t really blame her. I don’t know why, but I think it’s the fault of the producer or company. Her voice is strained in some parts nor does she fit the image the song is portraying. She has a more youthful and innocent kind of look.
Tldr; her vocals are either heavily autotuned or strained for the song and that worries me.

The Start of the Anikiiiii
The second series of the Yugioh franchise, Yugioh GX, takes place in the Duel Academia on a small island. Season 1 focuses on the protagonist’s first year there and his shenanigans. Some examples of adventures are dealing with a cult, fighting creatures, and being a dunce academically.
I watched the subbed version of the show which was very difficult to find. The only place I could find it is on Crunchyroll. (There are some episodes that only exists in subbed due to censorship and the fact that the show got replaced with 5Ds.)
The protagonists are:
Jaden Yuuki, the protagonist of the series who got into the academy from his impeccable dueling skills.
Syrus Truesdale, Jaden’s roommate and best friend. He sees Jaden as a bro. His older brother is the top in the academy.
and Chumley Huffington, Jaden’s and Syrus’s third roommate who is repeating his first year. He has amazing art skills and comically resemble a koala.
(I can’t find a gif of him by himself)
This show is typical old school anime. You can watch most of the episodes out of order if you only care for the battle. I find it crucial to watch the second half of the episodes in order to understand what’s going on.
More below!
This show is fun to make fun of. While it is not as good as the original, there are many parts to enjoy. Jaden is a dense imbecile who is low-key endearing. He always tries to use dueling as a way to resolve any conflict. Syrus easily is a simp for ladies. Most of his troubles originates from women or the fact he struggles with confidence. Chumley lacked the motivation to duel before meeting the boys because of his setback, but he has proven to be an amazing artist.
The plotline is not notable in the first half since this is when character establishment is developed.
I love the teacher’s character progression. It was obvious he has ulterior motives while paying attention to Jaden during his year. However, since it was established so early on in the season, I completely forgot about this until the reveal. He has grown to being one of my favorite characters.
Alexis is more submissive and wimpy than I remember. She barely did any battles. I like to make her more enjoyable by imagining she has a brother complex. I do not think that it is an accurate interpretation of her affection towards her brother, but she does not have much to go for.
Chazz had a character arc. I feel like he checks out for an anime tsundere. He hates Jaden because Jaden ruined his reputation, but he ends up hanging out with him (it is debatable if it’s willing or not). The Ojama brothers made him more likable and more relatable. He is a contender for a favorite character of mine.
Syrus is really annoying in the subbed. He keeps saying aniki to the point it became a meme between me and my friend. I really liked him in the dubbed, but subbed Syrus ain’t it chief.

Opinions on the Man Behind the Mask
After the whole Cryaotic situation died down, I feel like it’s now my time for me to release everything I felt during it. I waited so long to explicitly reveal these emotions and opinions so I could be rational.
First off, let’s get some context. Cryaotic, AKA ChaoticMonki, is a let’s player on Youtube and Twitch. He has millions of subscribers with his popularity peaking during the mid 2010s. He typically streams weekly with his group, The Late Night Crew.
About a month ago, his most recent video became alarming for his fandom after someone accuses him of grooming her. He confessed to cheating on his ex-girlfriend with underage girls; he had a manic tone in his voice while speaking in the short video.
After the release of the video, more people came out from either being manipulated or groomed by him. Friends start to turn on him due to the difference of morality and the hurt from betrayal.
Now back to my thoughts!
Honestly, I just feel betrayed. He played a big role in my childhood, and that came crashing down as soon as he released the video. I began questioning anyone or anything I looked up to. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but that only lasted a couple seconds.
What he did was inexcusable. His ex-girlfriend, someone who I’m not a big fan of, doesn’t deserve that. Her actions confuses me with all the things that are on the internet about her. Yet it is clear that she was manipulated by him one way or another. Also, what makes it worse that there are multiple victims to this mess. Having one, while it isn’t great, is better than multiple people coming out of the manipulation before they were of legal age.
The worst is his friend he betrayed. The guy has gone through shit and had to deal with it to survive. He’s stuck in a predicament in deciding on pride or survival. I feel like, other than the victims, he has been hit the worst from the mess.
I want to keep this vague because it’s not my place to stay. You are free to look up everything and come up with your opinion. I just want this off my chest to end that chapter that once was intertwined with my childhood.

The Lion Sleeps Tonight in the Mighty Jungle
The 1994 Disney movie is iconic with its opening music and rather dark themes. The story tells of the growth of prince lion residing in Pride Lands to become the king.
It is important to note that all of the characters are animals. Now onto the character introductions!
Starting off, Simba is the main protagonists. The audience watches him grow from a naive prince into a brave King as he fought his enemies.
Timon is a meerkat that helps care for Simba after he runs away from the Pride Land.
Pumba is a warthog who is the happy muscle boy of the group. He and Timon are rarely ever apart from each other.
The movie is clearly a Disney movie. There consists multiple musical scenes and romance between Simba and Nala; the movie practically checks the requirements for a Disney movie. I would recommend this movie for the comedic moments presented with Timon and Pumba.
More opinions below!
I never watched this movie until a couple weeks ago. I know, I know. I never watched a classic until now. Honestly, I’m glad I did. I was hyped into watching the movie, and it did not live up to my expectations. It is not a bad movie. But, I would not say it is the best movie ever made.
I let the hype get to me. I wouldn’t say it’s over hyped since it is a quality movie; it just didn’t reach the expectations. The biggest aspect that threw me off was the pacing. I felt most of the scenes were dragged out way too long while the end was extremely rushed.
I can see the theory about the story paralleling Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The King ends up getting killed by the uncle. The prince who does anything to end his uncle’s tyranny. The usage of spirits and ghosts. I mean, how can you not make that connection.
Other than Scar, Timon is my least favorite character in the film. He seem sway too cocky and egotistic for my liking. He does have some redeeming factors like his dedication to Pumba and Simba. However, I never liked how he treated Pumba. He seems like such an ass.
On another note, my favorite character is Pumba. I like his freedom and how he sees anything in his own perspective. I see him more like a lost child who is cheerful about everything. He sometimes gets too real with referencing modern science ideas (it’s a nice touch).
