Ok so I am going through the tf2 archives to make my own archive of Canon Official Content and...
You know that bit in Meet the Spy where BLU Spy sets a folder own on the intel table and a bunch of polaroids of RED Spy and Scout's Ma scatter across the table?
Well. The artists at valve used references for those photos. And in these references they just... photoshopped a custom posed model of Spy over the man in all the pictures...
Not all of the references were used in the final versions of the polaroids but here are some side by sides of the reference vs. final product
