Coming from a black person who is not pale at all. While I'm not a fan of how many pale presentation flags there are, it really isn't that serious. Presentation terms are about how YOU present, so by default they are MADE to exclude some people. Yeah being pale and skinny is a common beauty standard but making a flag for is in no way "pushing the beauty standard", that's definitely a huge exaggeration. If you're gay, skinny, and pale and want to use it then go ahead, if you aren't there are other presentation terms out there. Or if you seem to care oh so much, nothing's stopping you from making your own presentation terms. You don't have to be white to be pale, it could include asians, lightskins, mixed people, and just anyone who literally is pale.

i already said i won't be making terms like that any more . but i won't be changing the term grim as it's a term made for me and other ill people , it was specifically made for me as all my life i've been called vial things due to how ill i looked , i never meant for the term to try to push a pale agenda , i just wanted to be represented for my personal problems , as being ill has ruined my life and just be looking at me most people can tell , it's one of my biggest insecurities .

I don't why people are hating on your term, it's literally so good. As a person who has been incredibly underweight and pale their whole life due to multiple illnesses, I love it. It makes me feel seen. I don't know why it's hard for people to understand this, but people like being included— so if you make terms for everyone except for skinny and pale people they'll feel excluded. That being the "beauty standard" (it is only in some cultures, and even then you still need to be generally pretty, otherwise you're just a "skeleton" who needs to eat more) doesn't change the fact that people who look like that have feelings and wish to be included too.

Also like, terms exist for everything. I thought the mogai community was about living and let live. Like, what happened to "let people identify how they identify, it's their life"?? Why does that suddenly become a problem when someone who's apparently too "normal" or too "pretty" wants a label too?

literally read my response , the term was made for me and other ill people who due to their illness are skinny and paler , race has nothing to do with it as you can be any race and still be pale ( i am turkish , and wasian and are extremely extremely pale ) . it was never meant to exclude any race at all as race was never mentioned , just being pale . pale and white aren't the same .

the term is specifically for ill people but anyone can use it because i can't control how my terms are used

with all due respect— and i'm a different anon, white too, just so we're clear— presentation terms for being skinny and pale get so much backlash because that is the norm. like, that is THE beauty standard. its less about being skinny, as well (i mean, twink exists, for skinny/young-looking men), its moreso about the pale part. pale skin is generally revered. there are multiple cultures and people that bleach their skin in pursuit of Whiteness.

if you want a presentation term for when your illness impacts your presentation, you should word it better. instead of just "skinny and pale" and "almost sickly" (which it makes no sense to use almost, if it IS for sick-looking people) you should use sickly pale, malnourished, etc. and SPECIFY its for ill individuals. maybe also specify you dont HAVE to be pale. dark-skinned people can be sickly and thin too and they don't look pale. you shouldnt be making terms that exclude dark-skinned poc, period. they're already excluded in the community and made invisible.

the flag was was made for myself , i am wasian white passing and look very pale due to my illness , even tho i am asian .

as you stated , you are fully white , i rather take advice from another poc on this then a white savior . but i will not be making flags made for pale people again as people don't like it but , i will not be changing the flag as it was made for me .
