I saw someone mention that most booktok books were dialogue-heavy because people would admit to only reading dialogue and skipping everything else. Like...if you only want dialogue, go watch a stage play or watch TV, not skip half a fucking novel and ask "but why did Character A not do this??? why did she say that????"
