Currently watching “Highschool Frenemy” and this is probably one of the gayest Thai shit I’ve ever seen. WTF…

I thought people were exaggerating and just wanted to ship SkyNani but nahhh, the script is really over the top. Bromance my ass 😪. I guess they wanted to make a show about friendship but the gay gene is too ingrained in the industry.

Saint’s 24/7 simping, kicked puppy eyes. Shin’s intense, bashful, lustful gaze. The way Shin acts all tough while asking questions that he KNOWS will push Saint to talk and act like a sap. A dialogue that’s more romantic than MOST bl scripts. Love confessions literally in every fuc*king scene to the point I’m low-key starting to gag. Please stop crying for each other for god’s sake, it’s just another argument! Sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice… Longing, yearning, desperate devotion. Deliciously TOXIC codependency. The whole school always there to witness their shameless gay asses.

“Touch him and you die” trope in the most literal sense.

- I’ll become the monster I used to be in order to protect you.

- Clinically obsessed with each other to a degree that is genuinely dangerous to EVERYONE. And romanticised codependency.

- I’ll just kill myself if you ask me to. Everything for my bro 👊

- “My life without you has NO purpose.” I literally stopped existing after our fallout (WTF)

- Fu*ck the world, fu*ck everyone. I only need you.

-“Giving up on you because you’re the only thing that matters to me” (well, well if that isn’t a famous romance trope 🙄)

Anyway, it’s very ironic that the sexy, questionable stuff I wish to see in a good BL is glaringly present in a show about two “Bros”. Both boys need a good slap for a reality check because every episode takes this crazy behaviour a little farther. Though, no one can convince me that Shin is not at least questioning his feelings. That look is way too intense and knowing, while Saint is the typical confused, frustrating and surprisingly innocent male lead.

So, a few random, somewhat funny and real thoughts on this beautiful, sadistic masterpiece of an episode:

- On a funnier note: If I were Captain Chris in ep 12, and Kant and Style came to me, (hands on hips like the entitled little shits they are) with the most unhinged request... BOYYY. 🤡 The side-eye I’d give Kant would be LETHAL. WTF IS EVEN HAPPENING??? You’ve been working your ass off and stressing out the whole time just to NOT go to prison, and now you want me to send you there?!!! They’re batshit crazy, and I would take full advantage to mess with them a little. I’d probably throw them both in jail fr just for the chaos. Go ahead, snuggle with your boyfriends in those ugly prison uniforms. I bet Style would have an aneurysm in that washed-out look, but knowing him, he’d still do it cause he doesn’t joke about his man. The chaos is unmatched and the power of the di*ck wins again.

- The horniness we’ll witness next week will define FREAKS: I’m sweating💧STYLE, the craziest diva in town got himself a jail job just to get his hands on his man. I AM SO PROUD 😮‍💨 He will never stop surprising us. I can’t wait to see Fadel’s reaction when he realizes just how far Style will go for him. Just when he thought he figured out where his brat stood on that spectrum of insanity, Style waltzed in again with a new “GOOD-MORNING, KRUB 🎀”. This guy, who’s probably never even been near a jail, went and got himself involved with inmates—just so he could bully his man again. I respect it🫡. Normal lovers settle for jail visits, but Kant and Style would rather make jail time their new normal. Also, the hunger and force with which Style pushed Fadel against the wall in the preview? I already talked about how they’re so switch material… I’m begging, Jojo 🧎‍♀️If Fadel doesn’t get topped, I’ll carry that disappointment with me for years. Eat that man up, for fu*ck’s sake!

- The August 22 scene: I laughed so hard when I realized that all those thirsty tweets about that scene led to nothing in this ep 😭. Everyone was so sure we'd get it in the support group scene, but Jojo went vanilla on us—sprinkled with tears, though. But looking at the preview for ep 12? That scene’s better off happening in some dark, hidden corner of jail. Dark romance fans are probably shaking right now and I’m shamelessly one of them. I live for this criminal, jail-setting sexy time.

- Also about intimate scenes: Look, I’m NOT one to love shows that drown in steamy scenes and forget the plot. But come on, it's their last day together… I was expecting something gorgeous and emotionally charged—like, a physical release of all that longing we’ve been building up. I’m not saying they haven’t had their moments, but this particular episode deserved a scene like that. It's been a while, too, now that I think about it.

- Last but not least: Jojo, I swear to god… I’m sending you my therapy bills. The love-hate relationship I have with this talented man right now? Toxic as hell. But you’ve hurt me so good, baby. I love you, but also, wow 🫵

So, a few random, real thoughts on this beautiful, sadistic masterpiece of an episode:

- My boy Kant served: I TOLD you all. I knew he'd shut us all up. The only reason they even got that last day together is because of his past as a snitch and his connection to the captain. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the thing we hated the most. It turned out to be the reason they weren’t ripped from each other’s arms with no goodbye, and honestly, that’s kinda funny. We hated it, but it became the unsung hero of this entire ep.

- My boy Kant served part 2: He was soooo damn strong this episode, putting his own sadness on hold to hold it down for Bison, then for Style. I’m not okay 😪😪 I have never loved him more than I did today. Kant was out here with a mix of maturity, responsibility, and something crazy seductive and reassuring about him. He held it together. Even while comforting Style, who was losing it, Kant kept that damn smile on his face. He couldn’t let himself break completely. He had one more person to support through this pain, and he did it like a champ.

- Style crying: my Shayla… Listen, I’m really not ready to process this or talk about it rn…. But one thing I gotta say is that today’s episode was Dunk’s best performance, hands down. I was clinging to my last bit of eyeliner, but Dunk knocked me over. The minute Style broke in Kant's arms? That was it. I was gone. The way Dunk carried the pain and love in every scene before that was next level. 😪😪 If you're not impressed with his growth as an actor after today, what are you even watching? There will only be one Style in the BL world and only one actor who can bring him to life.

- Fadel, Fadel, Fadel… OMG 🙌 This guy finally surrendered to Style, and it was everything. He fully trusted him, let himself lean on him, and allowed himself to be vulnerable. It’s new to him but he stopped hiding his insecurities—he openly sought reassurance from Style, and trusted him to show him that he'd never be forgotten, that he'd never be alone and that they would get through this together. The contrast with Bison’s reaction and attitude was beautifully highlighted. Fadel has known this outcome was possible, so he prepared himself for it. Bison’s been clinging for so long to this fantasy that he could escape everything, quit his job, and start fresh with a clean slate. He OFTEN thought he could just leave all the darkness behind and love freely, but Fadel never excluded the possibility of losing it all, even when he was dreaming about a future with Style. And that’s what made the difference. While Bison, despite his trust in Kant’s devotion to him, is having a hard time computing with reality after he held for so long onto his dreams, Fadel had already made peace with the darkness. He was prepared to take the pain that came with it—and Style proved to him that he was insane and intense enough to be there through all of it. Fadel was definitely devastated too, but at least he came to terms with it —and he chose to believe that Style would stand by his side no matter what.

- Keen 🤦‍♀️: Okay, WHAT? Everyone got caught, but THIS GUY didn’t? I’ve always felt bad for Keen and wanted him to get his act together, but let’s be real—if my babies are getting arrested, he SHOULD be too. First, there’s no way he’s never killed anyone before they decided he wasn’t cut out for that part of the job. Secondly, he was the one running mommy’s shitty operations. He literally helped Bison and Fadel take people out. And, um, he shot a civilian in cold blood in the middle of a clothes-store?! Cute? Yes. Innocent? Hell no. He deserves to be in jail too.
