It was the sound of whimper. The kind of dogs made when they were very hurt or lonely. Scanning the boy slowly, he now noticed those ears and tail. It wasn't a mare human but somthing else..

Giving himself a secound to think he said with his cold arrogant voice, "If you can stand up.. I will take you in as my servant. You will receive food and shelter. It you cannot get up.. you will root to death with no one to even look at you."
