I just think it's useless and primitive when magic is easily accessible and blades are more commonplace in the culture

Also with that said I think adding guns would severely limit the kind of creativity I could put in a fight scene, I don't want someone like Cryptor to just pop a laser at your head I want him to like, actually run up on your ass it's just more intimidating to me

I debated adding guns given some history with them in real life eastern culture but just decided it wouldn't add anything to the au unless I wanted the ninja to get into the implications and politics of that

So, for Spitz, I'm still iffy about it. It definitely wouldn't be Fritz, though. He's already a formling, and elemental powers are supposed to balance out Ninjago. It's why most elementals are human.

That, and Nostalgia Fritz would not accept it. He loves Cole a whole lot, but doesn't want that responsibility. Last time he had to be responsible for something that important, he ended up an orphan.

I haven't 100% developed the Dragons Rising cast for Nostalgia yet, so everything I say about them should be taken as a heavy maybe. I'll most likely change it later.

But yeah, right now, Spitz and Wyldfire are getting handed Cole and Kai's powers.

Wyldfire being the next fire master is most likely never gonna change. But I can't say for sure until I officially get to that point in my outlines.

She doesn't get them until later, though. Kai isn't just gonna hand his powers over to a kid he doesn't know. It takes some time.

The fun part of these little looping animations is that they're really not that many frames at all

Seliel here is only three drawings, but five or six frames because some of their positions being adjusted for extra bounce, and Harumi twitching in the foreground is a single drawing with four frames of it being moved back and forth for. You know. Bounce. Movement.

So on and so forth, you get it
