{atta}
Atta liked to make it a point to be punctual, especially when it came to meetings that involved her boss. After being late once and a truck winding up on fire, she was cautious about making sure that never happened again. Though she wasnât sure why Hopper had any interest in a French restaurant like this one, she still came nonetheless, being ordered to after he had decided she could be of more use to him. Atta slid into a seat at the bar after the host pointed her in that direction, across from who she could only assume was a very stressed manager of some sort. âNo worries at all,â she assured him, flipping to the back of the menu with a smile. âIâm Atta Dreyfus, I work with Colin Hopper? Sorry that Iâm a little early, but on time is whenever he shows up,â Atta joked, extending her hand to shake. âIâll take ⌠whicheverâs your favorite white.â
~
âRight, right! Atta, of course,â he rambled. âIâm Adam Beaufort, the owner of this place. Iâm eager to meet your boss.â He offered her a smile. âNo need to apologize. Punctuality is important.â Adam reached to shake her hand. âIâll admit Iâm more of a red guy, myself, but I think I have something youâd like.â He turns around, briefly scanning the bottles or white that were chilled in the cooler below the back. âAha! Here we go.â He pulls out a bottle of their best white and one of the clean glasses heâd just put away. After pouring her a slightly generous glass he places it in front of her. âWe can chat here while we wait or go into my office where we wouldnât have any ears listening to us. I understand you were going to review the terms with me before your boss arrived.â

@attadreyfusâ
To say Adam was nervous about the meeting he had that day would be a fair assumption. He wasnât really ever pleasant as a boss so when he was a little extra high strung he tended to come off a bit...cruel. He was barking off orders left and right to make sure the place was in perfect order for when their guests arrived later that day. He desperately wanted a drink, but knew he should wait until they meet together. He was stood behind the bar, annoyed that he was putting away the last few of the clean glasses away and that the bartender had not before probably disappearing for a cigarette. When he was finished he turned around and was faced with a pretty blonde sitting at the bar. He quickly gained some composure and cleared his throat. âOh, Iâm sorry. I didnât notice you. Can I get you a drink menu?â He already had grabbed one as he asked and placed it in front of her. âAll of our wine selections are on the last two pages.â

"You can find me in the pub, we are watching rugby with his school friends." - claude
âIs that so?â Adam inquired as he looked up from the latest profit reports that were on his desk. Numbers were looking better now that Blaise had managed to somewhat behave himself. Or so Adam believed, at least. âAnd who would he be exactly? I apologize, Iâm struggling to keep up with everyoneâs personal affairs lately. I feel very out of the loop.â He chuckles softly to himself. âYou never struck me as a sports fan though. Whatâs changed?â He grabs his glass of water thatâs on the desk and takes a long sip. âIf youâre going out to the pub I take it you wonât join me for a glass of whiskey? Unless you want to pregame a little, that is.â

"Remember how I said I'dâ
dieâ
for you?" - Blaise
âHow could I not?â Adam asked, brows creasing together. As much as Adam was not a fan of sharing his feeling he also felt very deeply about many things. Always reluctant to share them, but never keep them close to his heart. Blaiseâs words heâd always kept close to him and heâd never forget. It felt a little out of the blue to say though, even for Blaise. âWhy do you ask?â he continued. âIs something the matter?â The questions just kept coming into his head and out of his mouth just as fast. It was always a coin toss with Blaise though and Adam was never certain what the man was going to say next. âJust tell me now if I should get the good wine or not.â

{blaise}
Ever since Lumiereâs fight with Adam, he knew for a fact that his job was in peril. They hadnât talked for months, with neither of the men humble enough to lower their egos. Blaise had assumed the worst was yet to come, and with his new-found sense of direction in his life, he tried his best to make do with whatever he got. Blaise started working for other people, accepting offers as a personal chef for a specified duration while making sure that it wouldnât interfere with his current work. He was channeling every ounce of frustration and anger in his body into trying to make things work. Even his dependence on alcohol had lessened, simply because he had no more time to waste. If Adam were to fire him, which was more than likely at this point, Blaise needed a plan to keep up. He finally wanted to settle down, and being unemployed was the worst way to start it.
When a knock on his door came, he was half-expecting Celine to come in, probably to help him with his cooking as she usually does. He was trying twice as hard as usual, taking advantage of his downtime to come up with new recipes if possible. Thus, seeing Adamâs face surprised him to the core. There was a gut-wrenching feeling of fear settling in his stomach because he thought that his friend was finally letting him go. Lumiere looked stoic as he stood in front of his door, waiting for the bad news to drop itself until a different narrative came to his mouth. âWhat?â He was dumbfounded by the first three syllables that came from Adamâs mouth. All Blaise could think about was âIs this real?â âAm I dreamingâ or worse, âAm I dead?â. He somehow couldnât believe what he was witnessing right now, his mouth half open in shock. âWait, what?â He listened and waited until the words finally registered in his head. Adam, the great Adam, the man he grew up with, the man with the biggest ego he could find⌠was actually apologizing to him. He couldnât believe it. Lumiereâs heart swelled with gratitude, knowing how difficult it must be for him to actually do this. âI love you, you fucker.â Blaise went in to hug his friend, tightly pulling him into his embrace. He didnât care if Adam wasnât the clingy type, he deserved this. Blaise wanted this.
When Blaise pulled back, there were legit tears in his eyes and streams of water trailing down his cheek while he held the other boy at the shoulders. âIâm sorry for being an asshole. Iâll try to be less of it.â He chuckled, wiping his eyes with his hands. âI know how hard it is for you to get here, and you donât know how fucking happy you made me, man.â Lumiere tapped the other boy, laughing at how foolish the two had been while simultaneously trying to hold back the silly tears in his eyes. âCrack the wine open, you just made today my birthday.â He joked, finally stepping out of the door to let his friend in.
~
To say Adam was relieved when his friend forgave him so easily was an understatement. His arms tightly embraced his friend when the other had wrapped his around Adam. He couldnât help his tears and the small sniffle he had. âI know. I love you too.â After Blaise pulled back Adam quickly wiped his eyes again before smiling at Blaise. âYeah, enough sappy shit. I know you can go on for hours and Iâm not drunk enough to listen to that.â He let out a small laugh then walked into his friendâs place. It felt as if heâd never stopped speaking to Blaise at all. Adam had already found himself making himself at home, taking his coat off and grabbing two glasses from the kitchen cabinet. Things just suddenly felt normal between them again. It really took a weight off Adamâs shoulders.
As he dug through a drawer to find a corkscrew he reflected on how much they seemed to have missed in each otherâs lives. Months can go by fast and life can change so much in a time like that. When he finally found it he closed the drawer and opened the bottle. âI have a dog now,â he said. âWell, itâs a puppy. For Belle, mostly. And her cat. I donât think Gulliver is very fond of him yet though.â He let out a soft laugh. Adam glanced up at Blaise before pouring them both two generous glasses of wine. He set the bottle down and grabbed the glasses, handing one to Blaise. âThat thing has so much energy, you donât even understand.âÂ

@blaiselumiereâ
Truth be told, Adam missed his friend. As much as Blaise drives him insane at times he might as well be family. The wedge heâd driven between them was heavy on his heart, and Adam knew he needed to do anything he could to fix it. He shoved his pride aside for the time being and made his way over to Blaiseâs. He knew he wasnât working because, well, Adam owned the place. He arrived with the best bottle of wine he knew Blaise would enjoy in his hand and knocked on the door. When the other man answered Adam felt at a loss for words. Heâd recited over and over in his head what he was going to say, but suddenly all thought disappeared from his head and the void was filled with a solemn feeling. âIâm sorry,â he finally said. âI shouldnât have said what I said. I regret it. I was projecting on you and you didnât deserve that.â Though Blaiseâs tongue had been just as sharp the day they fought. âIâm sorry for everything. Iâm sorry weâre stuck with this curse and being an asshole and just generally fucking everything in our lives up. Iâm not going to beg you to forgive me. Youâre free to make your own choices. I think I just felt this need to have control over everything and everyone in my life because....I donât want to fuck up and be alone. I donât want to turn into my father.â Adam hadnât made eye contact with Blaise the whole time he spoke but finally met his gaze. âThe wine is a peace offering, but not a very good one.â He held the bottle out for the man to take. âI donât expect much from this. I just wanted to apologize and let you know that no matter what youâre always going to matter to me. No matter how angry or upset I get or how insane you make me feel sometimes...youâre always going to be a brother to me. You donât have to speak to me every again. I just-- I wanted you to know that.â Adam bit on the inside of his cheek. He felt like he was going to cry and that was not something he wanted to do in front of, well, anyone. He could feel his eyes burning though as he forced himself not to blink so not even a single teardrop would fall. âI just want you to be happy. Even if thatâs not at the restaurant or with space for me in your life.â He couldnât force himself to not blink any longer and when he did his eyes welled up with tears. âSo, uh, yeah thatâs all I guess.â He acted like something was in his eye and rubbed the tears away. âI hope youâre doing well otherwise.â

â§
Belle and Gulliver had settled into their new home quickly. He was able to claim the whole home at his castle, a job heâd been ready for his entire life and sheâd already been spending most of her nights there anyway. Even though sheâd promised herself to never fall in love like this here she was on Christmas morning asleep in the bed she shared with her boyfriend. Belle had told her father about him, knowing the time for them to meet was nearing. Sheâd been putting it off but she knew she couldnât be nervous forever. Anyone meeting Maurice was something big, him being the most important person in her life. Now that she had Adam she had someone else she cared for in a very similar capacity. Even when he woke her up, a small yawn coming from her mouth as she blinked her eyes awake. She was just beginning to bring herself out of a sleepy haze when the creatureâs head popped out from hiding and her eyes lit up. âYou didnât,â she said looking at him before reaching out to take the dog into her hands. âHello you, itâs good to meet you too.â Belle smiled as she nuzzled her nose against theirs before setting him down. Once he started towards Gulliver she couldnât help but laugh as her cat stared at her with eyes of horror. Perhaps he wasnât too fond of the idea of getting a sibling. âHeâs perfect, just what we needed,â she said leaning against his shoulder after giving him a quick kiss. âMerry Christmas, Adam.â
~
Belleâs reaction couldnât have been more perfect, relieved she was overjoyed to have a new addition to their house and hopefully a friend for Gulliver. Adam couldnât hide the smile on his face if he wanted to as he watched blissfully how Belle took to the pup already, despite Gulliverâs horrifying reaction. He was quick to kiss Belle back when she pressed her lips to hers and after she pulled away he placed a hand on her cheek. âThere might be something else for you downstairs, but I donât think itâs exciting as this.â He holds out his hand so the puppy walks back across the bed to him and carefully pets him on the head. âAnd you have to think of a name for this little fella. I canât just keep calling him âlittle guyâ or âbuddy.â He needs a proper name. He glances over at the cat and laughs a bit, leaning over to pick the loaf up into his arms. âFear not, Gulliver. You wonât be forgotten.â It was almost strange how comfortable and domestic he felt in his life now. It was an accepted feeling and Adam wouldnât have traded it for anything. âYouâll warm up to him, wonât you?â he asked the cat that jumped out of his arms. He looks back up at Belle and rests his hand on her knee. âI know this is probably a lot to wake up to and youâre going to want coffee. I know I could definitely use some.â He takes his hat and jacket off, tossing them to the other side of the bed before picking up the puppy in one hand and reaching his other out for Belle. âShall we venture downstairs? We can brainstorm names as we get our coffee. Oh my god, we could totally name him after coffee.â Adam couldnât help excited he was, but this was new territory for him. Heâd never had the experience of thinking of fun names for a an animal that would be in their constant shadow for the years to come. âWe could call him Cappuccino and use Cino for short. Then again, that might just be stupid. I donât know if he will like that or not. Or go the tea route and name him Earl, but he doesnât look like a tea drinker. Not yet, at least.â

{claude}
event starter for @masterofhisfateâ
Things had actually begun to pick up at the restaurant over the holidays, and it felt like Adam and Claude actually had something to celebrate in the new year. It seemed like Blaiseâs settling down with Meg proved profitable, as there werenât as many customers concerned about the safety of their food any longer. âCheers, mate,â he said as he approached his friend with a glass of scotch. âLetâs try and skip the part where our business almost goes under this year, yeah?â Claude joked, taking a sip from his glass. âThank you for putting up with me for another year. Is Belle around here somewhere? You two going to share a ⌠smooch at midnight, or whatever they call it?â he teased, a smirk forming. With both of his best friends dating now, he had to make fun of them while he still could.
~
Adam had been thankful his life had calmed down, despite him and Blaise not talking which was taking a bit of a toll on Adam. He was dealing with things just fine though, thank you very much. âCheers,â Adam said back to his friend and held up his own glass of whiskey. âYeah, sounds like a done deal.â He let out a small laugh. âI wouldnât really say itâs âputting up with youâ so much as Iâm stuck with you,â he joked. âIn all seriousness though, Iâm glad to have you around. I think Iâd lose my head if it werenât for you.â He glanced over across the room, trying to spot Belle but couldnât find her in the crowd. âSheâs around. She ran into a friend and is chatting. Havenât seen her in a while. You know how she gets.â He smiled at the thought of her then shot his friend a look. âShut up.â He rolled his eyes. âAre you going to share a âsmoochâ with anyone tonight?â

@rctheroddâ
Holidays were usually quiet at Adamâs house aside from Celine who made sure that Adam always had some bit of holiday spirit in him. He tried his best, especially for Chip because he knew the kid needed that kind of joy in his life. Adam was always happy to fill in there though. This year was different though. He actually had someone to wake up with and have a reason to celebrate? It was strange but it made the inside of Adam feel warm. It still felt slightly barren without Blaise in the picture at the moment and Adam knew that was his own fault, but not something he wanted to deal with currently. He was more focused on Belle and the memories they would create together. Normally when he was clueless with gifts he went to Blaise. Seeing as that was not an option he had to figure something else out himself. So, he figured adding to their new little family wouldnât hurt, right? Besides, Gulliver needed someone he could rule over in his new castle. It was pretty early in the morning still when Adam went up to his--Â their bedroom to find Belle still asleep. It was rare for him to be up before her but he knew he had to that morning to prepare the gift he had for her.Â
He had just come from outside, his jacket and hat still on when he nudged her with his cold hand. âBelle,â he said softly, trying to wake her. âBelle!â he said again, this time a little louder so she would wake up. âSorry, I just...this couldnât wait.â Adam crosses his arms awkwardly over his bulky jacket and smiles at her. âI wanted to give you your present because itâs a bit time sensitive and--â before he could finish a small head popped out from inside his jacket and his eyes widened. âI told you to stay put!â he said to the small ball of fur poking itâs head out of his jacket. âWell, that surprise got spoiled a bit faster than I would have liked.â He pulls the small pup out of his jacket and carefully sets it on the bed. âMerry Christmas?â he says a bit sheepishly as he watches the pup walk to the bottom of the bed where Gulliver has made his new home. âHey, hey. Invasion of space, pal. You need to earn that spot.â He picks the little critter up and sets it in Belleâs lap before sitting beside her. âThis is a lot to wake up to, I suppose. Sorry.â He lets out a soft laugh. âI just thought Gulliver could use a buddy and this little fella was just begging to be taken out of the shelter window and be brought to a new home. I thought that it could be ours.â He glances over at Belle, looking for a reaction. âDo you think that it could be here? With us?â

@masterofhisfateâ cont. from hereÂ
Belle had been spending practically all of her time at Adamâs anymore, they were becoming attached at the hip. Sheâd gotten so used to coming there on weekends that more and more of her things were beginning to pile up there. Days like this were becoming more frequent. Days when she woke up and knew it was time to get back home to check on Gulliver but all she wanted to do was make a pot of tea and sit in his library with him. His words took her off guard at first, unsure if he was serious then she remembered who it was she was talking to. âReally? You wouldnât mind having us here?â Belle couldnât lie that the idea had crossed her mind once or twice but never imagined it could come to be. Perhaps it made sense, this was the next step in a relationship after all and she didnât see herself going anywhere. âI think that could be nice, heâd have an entire kingdom,â she said with a soft laugh, brushing her nose against his.Â
~
The moment Belle confirmed she would stay with him permanently he cupped her face and kissed her on the lips. He couldnât help the smile forming as he kissed her and when he pulled away he found her hand and leaned his forehead against hers. âI would want nothing more,â he told her in a soft tone. âYou tolerate every other thing in my life Iâm sure you can learn to tolerate my living habits too.â He let out a short laugh. âAs long as the two of you will be happy here so will I.â One of his hands was still on her face and he pressed another kiss to her lips. This time a bit softer and sweeter. âI love you so much. I hope you know that,â he said against her lips. He let his lips linger on hers for a moment longer before he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. âI never expected my life to turn out this way. With someone like you. I never deserved you.â He glances up at her. âYouâre the light of my life. You keep me going. You give me purpose, Belle.â

Continued from here for @blaiselumiereâ.
Adamâs anger levels were rising as the seconds passed. The more Blaise yelled in his face the angrier Adam became. He felt pure rage and couldnât imagine doing anything other than bashing his friendâs face in. He was completely seeing red. Blaiseâs words rang through Adamâs head over and over again and he could hardly keep up with what he was saying. Finally, he snapped and grabbed Blaise by the shirt collar, pulling him closer before pulling his arm back and punching his fist into Blaiseâs face. âHow fucking dare you,â Adam spat out. âIâm not going to let you stand here and berate me. I have never personally wronged you. Iâve made mistakes, clearly. Yet, here you are treating me as if I just killed your mother. If I remember correctly it was you that she was looking for that night.â He let out a breath he hadnât realized he was holding in. âDonât ever bring that night up again. We made a vow to never speak of it after that night!â His voice was rising again and he couldnât get his hands to stop shaking. âHave you always held everything against me? Do you really just tolerate me? Because Iâm about done tolerating your bullshit. I donât really give a fuck how you feel right now. No one is going to disrespect me like that, let alone the man Iâve considered a brother most of life. Is this how you truly feel Blaise? Then go, walk out the fucking door. But donât come back.â Adam wasnât realizing the severity of his words as he clapped back at Blaise. âCall me the monster I am but I donât think having no taste is your only curse. Maybe youâre the one that needs to look in a mirror and youâll see that.â

"Maybe it's the past that's talking." - Gaston
@gastonnlegume
When the fuck was Gaston going to get it through his thick skull that Belle didnât want him? Adam wondered if he was ever going to get it through the manâs brain that Belle was taken and in love with Adam. âWhat are you implying?â Adam asked with narrowed eyes. âThe past is in the past and Iâm focusing on my future with Belle. That doesnât include you in it.â Adam had always hated Gaston and his obsession with Belle made him feel uneasy. His life was slowly falling into place and with Belle in the picture it felt like nothing could get in the way of that. She was the most amazing thing to ever happen to him and he was not going to let Gaston just walk in and ruin all of that. âI swear to god if you donât leave her alone itâs going to get so ugly for you, Gaston.â Adam took a step closer to the man and stood tall, poking him in the chest. âShe doesnât want you nor has she ever. Leave us be. Admit defeat and move on. Iâm sure you could find some other poor soul to keep you company. Whoever that may be I just hope they know what theyâre getting themselves into.â

"You wouldn't know what I mean." - Blaise
@blaiselumiere
âWhat the fuck is that supposed to mean?â Adam snapped at his friend. His blood was boiling and that usually didnât take much to do, but when it came to his friends and people he cared about Adam tried to bite his tongue a little more. âJust because you go and fuck up everything for yourself doesnât mean Iâm going to do the same for myself!â he shouted as he rose from his seat and slammed his hands fists on his desk. He wouldnât mess up anything with Belle. He couldnât. She was the thread that held him together. He had never loved anything in his life more than her and for Blaise to stand there and tell him Adam didnât understand infuriated him. âNot once have I betrayed Belle the way you have Ophelia. Or Angelique. Or anyone. How dare you insinuate I donât know what you mean when I am doing the best I can at everything at once.â Adam knew he would say something he would regret and his knuckles couldnât have gone any whiter from clenching his fists so tight. âMaybe you should figure out your own life and reflect on your shitty choices before you go and act like mine are any worse than yours.â His nostrils are flared and he doesnât move from where heâs standing, shooting daggers at his friend from his eyes. âI told her the truth. Thatâs more than you can ever say youâve done to anyone. Your life is just a web of lies. One after another and now theyâre all tangled together and you canât escape. Youâre not only ruining things for yourself with your actions, Blaise. You hurt other people too. I will be damned though if I let anyone, even you, assume I would ever do the same to Belle as you would to anyone.â

"I just wanna stay." -Belle
@rctheroddâ
âThen stay forever,â Adam told her as he tightened his arms around her in bed. The words had slipped out before he even realized what he was saying. To say the thought of asking to her to stay with him permanently hadnât crossed his mind would have been a lie. Adam wanted to make a life with Belle and that almost seemed easier to do now. âI want you to,â His lips found her cheek and he pressed a soft kiss there. âI also donât want you to leave this bed more than I have to let you.â His hand ran up her side and to her shoulder then up a little more until he could cup her face. âRemember how we talked about how much Gulliver would love to run around and explore here? That could be reality.â His eyes found hers as he rubbed his thumb against her cheek. âIf thatâs something youâd be interested in,â he added.

â§
As much as she worried about him, she knew he was still himself from his touch. Sheâd started off so uncertain about Adam and now she cared for his safety the way she did her fatherâs. Theyâd become the two most important people in her life, something she had feared for so long. She never wanted to live a life without either of them in it. He wasnât in good shape but he was still her Adam. Once they reached his room she got a little more relaxed, happy he was laying down and resting. Her eyes were soft as they looked to him, brushing his hair back so that she could wipe a bit of blood left on his cheek. Her hand then made its way down to his shoulder then his arm to his hand. Each mark made her stomach clench a little more. âWho did this to you?â The words werenât intended to come out but she couldnât help but think out loud. It made her sick to think someone had hurt him like this. Then his words caught her off guard, her eyebrows furrowing a little as she took his hand into hers. âYou can tell me anything, what is it?â What was it that she was missing? Her worry returned in one swift moment as she stuck to his side. With sincerity in her eyes she looked to the man she loved and spoke in a soft yet firm tone. âI love you Adam, nothing is going to change that. Weâre in this together. Iâm not going anywhere.â
~
As Belle ran her hand down from his shoulder to his hand he grasped hers the moment they came in contact. Her touch was slow and gentle as always. It seemed to be the only thing to really ever comfort Adam. She was the only thing that could keep him calm and Adam truly knew their love was impenetrable. Her question caught him off guard and for a moment he tensed up. âI did,â he said, cautiously. âJust...Itâs a lot and...â Then he saw the look in her eyes and he suddenly felt like he could cry at any moment. âI love you more than Iâve ever loved anything in my entire life. Youâre my whole world. I canât ever lose that.â He leaned closer to her and pressed his lips to her forehead before continuing. âDo you know how in books thereâs always some sort of...twist. I mean like in a fairytale thereâs usually some sort of villain that has magical powers, right? Well, Iâm sort of living my life as if the story had a sad ending and the villain won.â He looks into her eyes, trying to see if she understood anything he was saying. âIâm cursed. Me, my friends, weâre all cursed.â He waited shortly for some sort of burst of laughter or something as if he were lying but quickly went on. âIt was a long time ago. We were having a party here and it was so stormy. This lady came to the door for shelter and I told her to leave.â His eyes started welling up with tears. âSomething happened. I couldnât see the same and I felt just so angry and hungry for something. I was so scared.â His hands are shaky. He canât recall ever speaking about the night it happened in detail after it actually occurred. A few tears fell and he held her hand tighter. âBlaise canât taste anything. Claude couldnât tell you the time of day if he tried. Celine canât brew a mug of tea to save her life. There were others there though. I donât know if it affected them too. And I...I turn into some horrible monster. Every month on a full moon it happens. I lock myself in that room. I fear that side of me. I donât ever want to hurt anyone again. It was that same night and Blaise and...I--â He took a shaky breath and tried to calm himself a little so he grabbed her other hand. âYou probably think Iâm insane or something, but I would not lie to you. I swear to you, my love, on everything we have together I am telling you the truth.â

"It's me, I'm the problem, it's me." - Blaise
@blaiselumiere
âYouâre only the problem if you keep doing stupid shit,â Adam stated bluntly. âStop for a second and think before you talk or do something. You keep ending up in this situations because you donât think. Youâre so impulsive. It drives me crazy!â Adam huffed and leaned back in his chair. âYouâre not always the problem though so donât flatter yourself. Sometimes you actually make decent choices. And youâre a good friend. Loyal. To us at least. My point is...just really think about what you want and choose. You have a lot of options in life and what you choose to do with it is on you. If youâre unhappy with something then leave it behind. Otherwise you just end up causing problems for yourself.â

"I don't start shit, but I can tell you how it ends." - Gaston
@gastonnlegume
âAnd how is it going to end? Please, enlighten me.â Adam stands up straighter and looks down at Gaston. âShe doesnât want you. She never has. When are you going to get that through your thick skull? Belle has always had the choice to choose what she wanted and she choose me. Does that bruise your ego? That thereâs one woman in this whole town that doesnât want you? She loves me and I love her and nothing will ever change that. Try and get in the way of that if you will but I can tell you how that will end.âÂ
