Everyone calls me bigoted and Islamaphobic when I point out that Muslims as a class are more dangerous, violent and worse for a country than Hindus as a class and I'm so tired. I live in a country where Muslims are wreaked irreparable damage, I have a friend who's traumatised lifelong by their wrecking an entire state in my country, and these western leftists aren't fucking listening!
Idk, I guess I'm just venting in your inbox, sorry lol. Like not all Muslims are bad, being a Muslim isn't inherently bad, Islam isn't bad (I don't think so at least) but like......can we have some nuance?
One point of disagreement, Islam is bad. It's a "religion" founded on murder, slavery, rape, pedophilia, and imperialism. The great Muslim heroes are not peacemakers and alms givers, they're murderers and rapists. And they're heroes because of those traits.
Not every Muslim is evil, because not every Muslim follows the tenets of Islam as laid out in the Koran. But the so-called religion itself is. As it's practiced in most of the Islamic world, it is incompatible with western values. As it's practiced in most of the Islamic world, it is incompatible with human rights and human dignity.
The good news it, many Islamic countries are slowly westernizing and liberalizing (in the good way). Eventually, Islam will need a Reformation of its own to bring it out of the 7th century. When that happens, if it shakes out the way I hope it does, Islam will have a place in modern society. Until then, it must be treated as the invasive disease it is.
