Gamification

Hello,

Gamification, what does it mean?  

Gamification is the means of taking typical elements of games in our everyday lives. Gamification is used to engage and encourage you or a company’s products.

Salesforce is used in my job to communicate with clients.  Fitbit is like a game only because of the challenges presented to our group. Juliann Michael’s apps are the same, it’s about encouragement, and it’s never boring.

Salesforces is used in my company as a way to communicate with our clients. Salesforces is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.  At first when you look at it you think of Facebook. What makes this more GamEffective like they call it is that you feel that you are being encouraged to boost sales in your area of business. Sales and Gamification are working together to boost the sales in our company.  A perfect example of how we use it in a daily basis with our new employees by using the add-in Walk me.   Walk me is a training tool part of Salesforce that teaches the new employees how to use Salesforce in a fun and encouraging environment.

FitBit, we all know it, but did you know that it’s taking our fitness to a new level with gamification. The challenges are custom to you and your group. My friends are hard on me because they love the daily showdown that kill me every time. You get updates on who is in the leading. Fitbit challenge encouraging the player to beat the other members. I have been using Fitbit for the last four months.  I am walking a lot more due to the challenges. 

How is this gamification?

I would consider this gamification because this is encouraging the users and boosting the person's health.

Jillian Michaels’s website is my journal well that is how I used it. It’s a great way to keep track and like FitBit has great challenges.  I am currently doing a challenge to win a trip to New York.  The challenge is called The Jullian’s 100 days. It’s a challenge to do one healthy thing a day. Six weeks slim down challenge given out weekly prizes.  

Why is this gamification?

These games are available online or with an apps.  They all to motivation the member to lost win in a fun way, and it provides daily encouragement.

I do encourage you to take advantage of these great products for your business or just to improve your health. Get Gamification!

The trailer will focus on ’Gabriella’, untrained witch-hybrid, who needs to master her power before the leader of the vampires takes control of her mother’s Book of Magic. Multi-talented Jennifer Lake, an experienced actress, will be playing ‘Gabriella’ in the main role.

 “A character that never had to make a choice until she’s forced to face her newfound abilities. ‘Gabriella’ deals with the need to save her mother’s legacy by saving her coven. An amazing tale as we watch ‘Gabriella’ evolve into the warrior she is destined to be. ”

 “Book of Magic” is employing a unique marketing trailer by releasing a total of three character trailers between the winter and spring. Each trailer will focus on each of the individual main character from the film. Dan Levy, filmmaker, will direct all of the trailers focusing on the best or worst parts of these characters creating an action packed trailer of their individual magical abilities.

Today, Grifo Sit Films announced a new release date for “Book of Magic”. The writing stage has just been completed and filming will begin in November, 2015. Just in time to for the 2016 spring film festivities.

Unexperienced hybrid-Witch, Gabriella Landry, transports herself to a supernatural realm where she must master her powers before her mother’s coven is destroyed. Gabriella learns of a vampire’s interest in her mother’s coven driving her to master her powers before he takes control over her powers and destroys her mother’s legacy. Gabriella is guided by Scott La Fay a warlock whose destiny is to rule both her heart and her coven.

9 January 2016 books to look out for.

Another month another time for looking 3 months ahead to what comics you should add to your pull lists to be the cool kid in the shop. Once again I got 9ish books that come out or at least are planned to come out in January of 2016. If your excited for any of these books please comment below so we can talk. 

Faith 1: Valiant releases the first book they have ever released to make me go, oh dang I need that in my pull list. This is one of the first body diverse female characters to lead her own series and from what i’ve been seeing of the character it should be fantastic.  

Princeless Make Yourself: I realized I made a huge error and hadn’t plugged the original Princeless in this series. Raven is a fantastic book but so is Princeless’s main series. We will see our main hero face off against the kingdom to save her sisters some more. I believe Issue 1 is the issue that launches in January but Action Labs is always harder to get a read on. 

HellCat 2/Squirrel Girl 4:  I have to include both these books in one spot because maybe they only deserve to have the spot because I personally A love Hell Cat 2′s cover so I needed it in this post to share it and B their creative teams are the best. Squirrel Girl is going to go fight doom now it seems and Hellcat is going to eat burgers! 

Jem and the Holograms 11: Dark Jem! Sophie Campbell returns to Jem and with it the Dark Jem arc begins . Something is wrong with Synergy and Silica enters causing chaos for the Holograms as they begin their tour. The Misfits and the Holograms are both going to have a lot of drama going on. I am really excited for this and it’s going to be a great jumping on point for new readers. 

Poison Ivy 1: This is one I’ve personally been waiting for since it was announced months ago. Amy Chu is writing a Poison Ivy mini series and  this concept is really exciting. This is Ivy trying to balance work life and being the badass queen she is outside of it. A friend at her work is murdered and she has to try and figure it out. it makes me want a Poison Ivy crime show.

The Legend of Wonder Woman 1: This isn’t the legend of Korra but it is the legend of a pretty awesome iconic female character. This book is set to take Diana back to being raised by the amazons and show the lessons she learned growing up that made her who she is today. It sound pretty awesome and it’s one that could be great if done right. 

Captain Marvel 1: I didn’t really read Kelly Sue’s famous Captain Marvel run at least not as of writing this. However, it’s insanely exciting to see two woman writing Carol here and making her more realized than ever. Carol’s new position in the Marvel Universe sounds amazing and we’ll see her actually being a Captain.

Another Castle 1: I am not sure this one is actually releasing in January. The book is set to release in 2016 and with how much they showed in advanced I feel like it should be ready by then. Noting that Another castle looks to be Princeless like but hey maybe Raven and Princeless aren’t enough for you get Another Castle and you got a triple princess power hour. Plus I’m sure it will do a lot to be it’s own thing. From the preview it seems more of a “girly” princess still totally capable as a opposed to a girl he challenges the gender roles assigned. 

The Wicked + The Divine Volume 3: January see’s the release of the 3rd trade paperback of The Wicked + The Divine. This trade features one of my favorite single issues I’ve ever read. The whole trade is a testament to what comics as a medium can do and masterful storytelling.
