Hi Gentry! So for the ask game AU : Izuku can travel through different planes of existence parallel to his own and perceive entities ( evil as friendly ) wandering in them. However, this is not a quirk, but a particular trait of his mother's side.

Izuku’s favorite plane is the quirk one, where there is no people but manifestations of their quirks (some are friendly, some are not, most of them do not really enjoy having a tiny child trying to ask them a thousand of questions). He used to spend hours here and only came back home at dinner time. There are other planes, some who has no people in it but if you touch something, you can see its memories, another submerged in water, one full of shadows, one full of treasure, and so on. And there is one where Izuku is forbidden to go, full of hungry things that left scars on both Inko and Izuku.

Izuku’s “quirk” is named “No comment” because he can’t really explain it. Basically, he phases to another plane of existence, runs to wherever he needs to be, and to whoever is watching, it looks like he appeared out of nowhere, like some kind of delayed teleportation. (And if he needs to, he can throw someone or something in any plane he wants.) The only plane where time stops and he could appear back in any place he wants without delay is obviously the forbidden plane, full of things that apparently can smell travelers like sharks smell blood in the water and they will converge on him in no time. So nope. Delayed teleportation through a safe plane is enough, thank you very much.

The plot kicks in when a strange man knocks at the door and asks to see Inko but he uses another name. Inko refuses to open said door. He tells her he needs her to do something, that’s it’s a job well-paid, and that it will be a piece of cake for her. Inko refuses to open the door and when Izuku asks her about it, she lies to his face by saying she doesn’t know this man. A month later, while Izuku is swimming in the submerged plane, one of the Hungry Ones who definitely shouldn’t be here tries to take a bite out of him. He manages to escape but he is badly spooked by it. A week later, a similar monster is spotted in Mustafu.

It turns out that Izuku and Inko aren’t the only one with the ability to travel. Whoever it is, they are botching the phasing so much that they leave whole portals open for hours at a time and anything is free to pass through them.

After Toshinori almost gets his face eaten by a monster that has no business being in the sewer, he asks Gran Torino if he knows anything about it, as he is under the impression that his old teacher has seen it all. He is right. Shenanigans ensue and Toshinori hires Inko as a consultant and Izuku is trailing right behind them.

+1. I don’t know how or why but Izuku meets Chisaki and the encounter ends with him yeeting a yakuza in the forbidden plane. May he rest in pieces.

Anyone Want a Cursed Quirk?

Mirio writhed on the ground. Dark lines spreading across his body, as his insides felt like they were tearing him apart.

Since he’d gotten One for All, it put an enormous strain on his body. He tried to tough it out until his body acclimated, but he never did. There was just too much power.

He got examined by Recovery Girl, and she told him the hard truth. One for All was was slowly killing him. A talk with the Vestiges and some quick research by All Might confirmed it.

They tried to think of a solution. All Might suggested they bring in his friend’s daughter Melissa Shield to take the quirk. She was quirkless, so she should be able to handle it. Mirio went on patrol to consider the plan. Halfway through he had to use One for All to defeat a Villain and collapsed in pain.

Agony pulsed through Mirio’s every cell. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t speak, he could barely even think beyond wishing the pain would go away.

A shape kneeled next to him. Another person, asking him something.

“…Quirk too much for you? I can take it off your hands.”

The shape extended a hand.

All Mirio’s pain addled brain could recognize was a chance for relief. Mirio plucked one of his hairs and handed it to the person, who took it.

Several minutes later, the pain subsided. However, when Mirio looked up, the new bearer of One for All was gone.

Within One for All, Yoichi and the others examined their newest wielder.

They hadn’t heard much of what he said to Mirio, but Yoichi had gotten the gist of it. He saw a Hero suffering and wanted to help.

“I like this kid,” he said, “He saw someone suffering and didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand!”

“True,” said Banjo. “But still, we don’t know much about him. It’s a bit early to make a solid judgement.”

“He did immediately fled the scene,” said En.

“He’s a kid who within five minutes saw a Hero almost die and was suddenly given a quirk that breaks all known rules,” said Nana. “Poor thing’s probably scared half to death. Besides he mentioned he’s quirkless in his mutter-storm? How many of those are we gonna find?”

“She’s right,” said Yoichi. “Beggars can’t be choosers.”

The new bearer glanced at a window, giving them a view of his emerald eyes and curly green hair. He opened an app called “Clamor” and began typing a quirk analysis on his phone.

Yoichi narrowed his eyes. “Something about him seems oddly familiar…”

“Yeah,” said Nana. “Something about his eyes…maybe he has that same light Toshi had?”

“You’re right!” said Yoichi. “That same Heroic spirit!”

Nana nodded, a smile gracing her lips. “I’m getting a really good feeling about this!”

The new bearer dialed a number. “Hi Shoto, I got One for All!”

Yoichi tilted his head. How’d he know-

“What? I thought we were going to steal it next week?” The voice on the other line said.

What.

“We were!” the tenth said. “But after defeating a Villain, the quirk started killing its user, so I asked him to give it to me! And he did!”

“You offered to take a quirk that was killing its user?”

“Well, he already had a quirk and I don’t, so it probably puts less strain on me!”

“…Right.” The voice on the other end did not sound convinced. “So, we don’t need to trick him into thinking he’s dying so he’ll give it to you after all?”

“Nope! It happened for real. Which means I also saved him when I got the quirk! Isn’t that great!”

“Yeah. Can we use that plan on my dad instead then?”

As the conversation continued, Yoichi and the Vestiges exchanged looks. What had they gotten themselves into?!

He had been woken up by the thunderstorm, the horrible noise piercing through the thick blanket of sleep that had been placed upon him, and had been greeted by the fire ravaging the Might Tower. All for One had come back as Izuku was trying to break the reinforced glass, desperate to help, to do anything, and he had hold him in place as they both watched All Might’s tower being ravaged by the flames.
