Green Tea Extends Life
Tumblr media
matchakyoto  has shown remarkable improvements in many key health areas, including life expectancy. Life Extension(1) released a report that gathered many studies showing how green tea (Camellia sinensis), affects DNA, bone health, stroke risk, blood pressure, insulin resistance and how it can prolong life. These are some of the groundbreaking results.
HEARTHEALTH Studies have shown that drinking as little as 4.5g (.16 oz.) of ground green tea per day can lower LDL cholesterol by up to 40%. Large-scale studies have shown that strokes and heart attacks are reduced by 32% and 36% respectively. The risk of heart attacks is 64% lower for those who consume more.
BRAINHEALTH Brain function declines due to aging and toxins. Tea reduces inflammation and abnormal proteins, which protects against Alzheimer's. Studies have shown that learning and memory improve. In some cases, Parkinson's symptoms can be reversed or reduced. Tea reduces stroke risk by increasing oxidative enzymes, and decreasing artery inflammation.
BONE HEALTH The causes of bone loss are age and menopause. This is due to oxidative stresses. Green tea catechins (antioxidants) stimulate new bone cells resulting in greater bone density. This is particularly important for women who are pregnant to prevent osteoporosis.
METABOLIC HYPOTHEMOLOGY This refers to having three or more of the following symptoms: excessive abdominal fat, high blood sugar, and abnormal lipid profiles. This problem affects 35% of American adults, and 50% of people over 60. This can increase your risk of developing cancer, stroke, and diabetes. The benefits of drinking tea include lower blood pressure, increased insulin resistance and a better lipid profile.
LIFE EXTENSION The genetic blueprint of a person's DNA is what determines their ability to produce and sustain healthy and sustainable molecules. This tea helps to preserve the mechanism of life by decreasing oxidative stress (tissue damage) as well as DNA damage. After consuming one cup of matcha tea, 30% less DNA damage was seen in white blood cells. Studies have shown that tea can prevent and even repair damage from oxidative stress. Animal studies showed that this tea made them live 14% longer. 14% means an extra 11 years if you are looking to live past 80.
IN CONCLUSION Many studies were conducted with tea extract or powder. Matcha green tea is made with ground tea leaves. It can also be purchased in powder form. Since 2005, I have been using 1/2 teaspoon matcha in my morning coffee. This is equivalent to approximately 50 cups of brewed coffee. It has caffeine so I no longer need to drink coffee. It's easy on the stomach, my blood pressure is lower, and I feel more alert throughout the day.

Matcha Green Tea Powder is a more expensive product than other green tea products. This is because the tea leaves are hand-picked and the powder is made from the finest tea leaves Matcha tea packaging.
The cost of matcha green tea powder is determined by the quality of the powder. The location of the leaves/leaves on the tea plant is one factor that determines the grade. The leaves from the top of the tea bush are considered softer and therefore are considered higher-graded, while the lower-grade leaves are considered harder and are considered lower-grade.

Other grades are available depending on how dried the leaves are. To preserve their quality, the leaves should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The best quality tea leaves can only be obtained by taking special care when they are being ground. To retain the finest grade of tea leaves, it is important to keep the tea leaves from becoming oxidized.

What Makes For a Quality Green Tea?
As many of you, I was curious when I first began drinking green tea. I didn't know what good green tea was and I didn't have any friends who drank it regularly so I bought Lipton Green Tea from the supermarket. After finishing the box, though, I thought, "This isn’t bad", but it really wasn’t that great. After doing some research online.
One caveat: While there are many qualities that make a green tea good, the most important is its taste. However, you will enjoy green tea best if it's one that you love.
Now that we have all that out of the way, freshness is a key indicator of quality tea leaves. Many supermarket products have been stored on shelves or in warehouses for many months. The shelf life of green tea leaves is usually 6 months, but the time it takes to open a container will drop down to 2-3 months. This is why it is better to buy tea online than in-store. Most online retailers are able to source the tea from the country and purchase in small quantities so that the stock is fresher.
Tumblr media
A good indicator of tea quality is whether the tea comes from one estate or another. Many tea wholesalers will buy tea leaves from many estates. This means that you get a mixture of high-quality and low-quality tea leaves. The quality of tea leaves sourced from one estate is more likely to be high. You may be asking why only high quality, and not mediocre or poor? Single-estate tea suppliers tend to be more selective about the quality of their tea leaves. A company that is focused on quality and volume would be better off sourcing from multiple estates.
Finally, it is important to harvest when the tea leaves are fresh. When the tea leaves have just turned green, they will be of the best quality. The sun will dry out the tea leaves later than this, thereby reducing its quality.matchakyoto
After all that I've already said, I want to reiterate the following: Quality tea leaves will yield a great cup of tea. But, you will have to decide for yourself which green tea is the best. Try different brands, and you'll find what you like. You might choose to buy the more expensive Jasmine Green Tea... OR you may discover that Lipton's is a great choice from your local grocery store. There is no perfect recipe, so let your taste buds swell and get some!
