Izashin doodle i did weeks ago and just finished up now. Shinra's book is blank but imagine he's reading a book of Irish legends and he's on the page about selkies that describes how a fisherman will get a selkie to marry him by hiding their selkie coat, "preventing them from returning to the sea. Such marriages are often unhappy, as the selkie always longs for the sea and may eventually escape if they find their skin" bc i read that off Wikipedia after casually googling selkies and had to just sit there and stare at the wall for five minutes after because **that's so shinra-celty it physical hurt that's literally him with her head**

Having a lot of fun writing a short story for a contest in my English class (winner for the class doesn't have to do the final) that is totally not a rebranded durarara!! au set in 1890s Ireland

Wip of the first page, it's supposed to be gothic or at least romantic so I'm writing a very frankenstein-inspired story where Shinra creates Celty after becoming obsessed with the idea with her (it's out of character but i mean it's an au)

I honestly think frankenstein and durarara overlap in some themes about what makes someone become who they are and shapes their morals, and the distinction between human and monster as well the general idea of being outcast from society. As much as I'd like to incorporate lots of characters into the setting and theme, there is a length and time limit (i have until next Tuesday to write this) so I'm keeping it limited to Shinra (renamed to Felix), Celty (Saoirse), Shizuo (Samuel) and Izaya (Elijah)

The working title is Frankenrara!! but I'll need a real one to turn it in under

ik Shinra doesn't wear his labcoat much until after highschool but i feel like he doesn't look like himself without it

Shinra birthday art I made him to cutesy but oh well. Celty made him a cake it had way too much cocoa powder in the filling it was bitter and sludgy but he ate it anyway because he loves her
