they just make the dynamic something completely different to ship them and for some reason obi wan is always the victim even in situations where they admit obi wan is the bad guy and completely accept the horrible implications that comes from it and that is what disgusts me the most in this fandom. the way they talk about anakin who would be the 100% victim in here as if he asked for it which is disgusting and I don’t give a fuck that this is fiction because the way they talk about it pretty much shows some pretty awful way of thinking. anakin doing all of that later on doesn’t excuse obi wan’s behavior AT ALL and if you even have the slightest of backbone you would acknowledge this.

and like the thing is the dynamic they want already exists with palpatine why would you make obi wan equally horrible as him like what do you get out of that. obi wan and anakin’s dynamic is genuinely so boring and the way they need to make up stuff to make it interesting shows that. it literally isn’t even thee most interesting master-padawan duo if you ask me (it’s obi wan and qui-gon for me) .
