I have no interest when it comes in writing. But when the semester starts we have the subject, Creative Writing it tought us how to love writing and how to become a creative writer. I learned a lot on how to create a letter and what I love about this subject is you can express your feeling through writing. I also learned that you can use your imagination and your emotion through writing it and you have no limition as long as you write down everything you feel. Creative Writing also tought us not to be afraid to make mistake when writing a letter because it has something called "free writing". I really dont like to write or to write down my thoughts even the ones i feel. But because of this subject I learned to write even if its not my passion and I'm not good in writing. I also learned that when creating a letter it does not have to be perfect all you need is to be creative in writing your letter. And I also learned that not all poem have the rhyme what important is the meter. Also this subject helps me to improve my writing skill even like what I've said it is not my passion.

1. POET’S BACKGROUND IN WRITING THE PIECE

- People nowadays are very anxious about random things. They are preoccupied and think a lot that gives them torture from within. I have known one, but this piece literally relates to everyone. I got the idea of writing this poem according to how everyone acts in today's situation. I know that each one of us is having difficulties in handling and coping with our mental health. This pandemic opens up everyone's close doors. But on top of it, helping one another is a way of how everything will be okay or having something that could help one cope up.

1. THEME/CENTRAL MESSAGE OF YOUR PIECE

- In life, it's not always about unicorns and rainbows. It's not about having a good and happy day. There will be a time that we are not okay. We tend to have this feeling that we are chained and live in closed dark spaces. There are a lot of people experiencing this kind of agony. Everyone has his own story about darkness. Yes, life may be harsh from within, but at the end of the day, there'll be someone or something that will shed light on our depth despair. It is something or someone that we may call our saving grace.

2. POEM ANALYSIS

- The piece is set to have a four-stanzas of four lines each. It was in a rhyme scheme of ABAB CDCD.

- The rhythm of the poem associates with a ‘Penta’. The lines contain five iambs or having five da-DUM.

- This poem is an open form as it does not follow certain rules. But the thing is, it has words that rhymes and a rhythm.

- Different set of tones was used in the poem. There’s confusion, horrified, doubts, euphoric and grateful.

- The poem possessed with having a visual imagery. As the words in the text are more on the visualization of the reader.

- Prior to the piece, different types of figurative language had been used. Symbolism, Metaphor, Hyperbole, Euphemism, Assonance and Imagery. These literary devices made the context as imaginative and captive to the readers.

The moment I stepped foot at the main gate of the cradle of excellence I always have this undeniable feeling that there is nothing in this school that I will not miss. The countless epic fails and the endless cracking of jokes with Grupo Munggo. The panic attacks, and the camaraderie in fulfilling a task and also the feeling to be in UNO-R. Those were the times when I can say I wish I could stop time and enjoy every second of it.

Under the heat of the sun, here are my friends that's extremely fun.

Upbeat music with the loudest clamor, defeating the silence at this hour.

Swaying our hips side by side, moving thy feet to the left and right, how fascinating to see the twirls we made daylight.

The salty potatoes blending, in the oozing cheese that makes the mouth fairly salivating.

Grasping the rough texture of thy fabric pants, holding it tightly for a safe instance.

Days like this may be harsh, for the intensity of the heat as the sun rises.

"The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost is a literary piece that conveys the uncertainty about the possibilities or choices and the presumable disposition regarding the consequences we may encounter. Life choices are like taking the road. We may take the long path or the short one. Nonetheless, the narrator took the "less traveled by" in which he chooses to mold his own path or direction that is different from everyone else. This poetry envelopes seriousness as the tone of the author used but with accessibility. For the diction of the poem, it encompasses simplicity and informal but with a descriptive choice of words that makes it easy to understand. Also, it is written in poetic diction. The style of writing is set out to have four stanzas of five lines each. There are different figures of speech that can be identified in the poetry. It uses metaphor, alliteration, personification. This concludes that Robert Frost is a great poet that uses various astronomical literary devices in making such a poem.

Everyone can all be a creative writer as long as you know how to write and type what maybe what you feel for someone or thought and if you have a problem you can write what makes you feel happy. Because this form of writing can help us to vent our resentment to make our feelings comfortable. What makes a good creative writer is yourself as long as you have the idea of what you want to write like whatever you want you can write it because it is a free form of writing so you can do or write what and whatever you want until the end of your thinking capacity. And the one that makes a good creative writer is the inpiration because its easy to express your feelings or thoughts as long as you have your inpiration and you're inspired to write. Also when you're committed and you love what you are doing it easy for you to create a letter.

1. What is CREATIVE WRITING?

– Creative writing is a form of writing where you need to be creative when you are creating a poetry or personal essay and it has no boundry you can write what you feel also you can tell your dreams and create a diary because you have no limitation when creating a letter and you have to be creative.

2. Why study Creative Writing?

- To gain knowledge about creative writing and know how to create a letter and we need to study creative writing so that we can create our own letter whether it is journal or a poetry so that we can easily do our letter.

3. Why is being creative important for survival in this post truth world?

- Because change is constant and change is inevitable when everything goes wrong people who wants to escape the reality being finds creative writing as scapegoat. In which they can write something far from the reality and wrote what ifs to lessen being anxious.

4. Do you think that creativity involves putting your heart and soul into your work? Or is it more like letting your mind flow freely to witness the surprising results of your actions?

-Yes for me we have to put our heart and soul because when you're writing your mind would not flow freely if you don't love what you are doing.

5. Do you believe that it is important to be accepted by others as being creative or is just doing what you love to do enough to justify your work? Explain.

-I believe that being a creative writer it don’t Need to be accepted by the others as long as you love and accept your work and what you've done.

- Every morning the kids are playing in the backyard but it rained last night that set everything differently.

Who Am I

I am Dave Mathew Magbanua, I'm 17 years old and I'm the only child I live in kabankalan city but when I'm young like elementary to high school my parents decide to lived in manila because they have to work for me and when I was grade 7 my mother decided to go back here in negros to prioritize and take care of me, while my father is in Manila to work for us because when I was young I only take care of myself because they are always busy to work but I understand because what they are doing is all for me.

My name Dave Mathew was given by my father, because since I was not still born, my mother and father had a deal , if the baby is boy my father will be the one to give the name and if it's girl my mother will give. My nick name is Daboy or The Boy given also by my father because when I was a kid I already responsible to my stuff and I can take care of myself that’s why father called me the boy or daboy.

I used to play online games and I also love to play basketball with my friends and cousins and I also like stuffs like jordan shoes and other nike stuffs. It makes it as my hobby and I enjoy dealing with it

I lived in Kabankalan City but when I was a kid I used to lived in manila I transferred here in negross when Im grade 8 and here I continued my studies my hobbies is playing online games, basketball and swimming and I also like to watch movies and to sleep. I also have many favorite food the most is filipino dishes and I have no food allergies thats why I love to eat but I dont want to get fat.
