Apparently, my game is all finished!!!
I’m gonna take a look and see if there’s anything else I should do.
“Just Another Day” was finished at 19:57 (Brasilia Time), on the 20th of January, 2021, after approximately 60h of work.

Vou dar mais uma pensada e ver se faço mais alguma coisa.
Mas no geral, está redondinho! Matei os últimos bugs na unha, meus caros! (*iludida*)
O Just Another Day foi terminado às 19:57 (horário de Brasília) do dia 20 de Janeiro de 2021, após aproximadamente 60h de trabalho. O jogo foi feito entre os dias 9 e 20 de janeiro, para a My First Game Jam - Winter 2021.

Day 4 - 10 (or: Oop)
Soo. *Ahem.*
During this week, I scored about 27h of work.
My productivity was not the same after the first day’s inspiration...
The game so far:
- has all scenario completed;
- has (probably) all sprites completed;
- has a choice screen with an imagemap (whoray!),
- lacks: Main Menu image and buttons, scripting the good and bad endings, and a better UX.
I admit I’m already a bit disappointed with the result, lol. My art skills are def not up to the task of making a beautiful game just yeat.
But!
At least I’m learning a new skill with Ren’py, and it’s always a good idea to test our own limits...
I’m going to post some sprites to balance out all this rambling!

Days 2-3
Soo, the last two days were not as productive.
I worked about 11h30, summing the two days' work.
I finished other 2 sprites for the same character, P2, finished 2 bedroom backgrounds (one of which is animated), started to work on the canteen background.
That is, I still have 6-10 sprites to make, 6 backgrounds to finish plus GUI customization. And, you know, all the rest. :p
Gotta go draw a canteen ✌

After years of trials and tribulations, Cinderella Phenomenon: Evermore is finally HERE! Evermore is a sequel to the original Cinderella Phenomenon game and takes place two years after the good endings from the prequel. It is $9.99 and, currently, only available to play on itch.io. Please look forward to an update on our STEAM release sometime in January!
Here are some gameplay notes:
There are 5 routes (With 5 chapters and 2 endings each)
All routes are available to play at the start of the game
You can toggle the Right Choice Indicator on and off. Keep in mind that it might show up belatedly!

I'm using this blog to share my experience developing a Visual Novel during the My First Game Jam.
It is both the first time I try developing an actual game (apart from a buggy exercise done on Scratch) and my first game jam... Writing a daily dev log will help me see my progress and hopefully learn from my mistakes for future jams.
I'm still figuring things out, so I don't know what my aim is yet as to gameplay duration, story length and the amount of sprites...
What I've planned so far: 3 characters, 2 endings each; at least 3 side images for each + 5 scenarios. I'm using Ren'py, Krita and Inkscape. I've scarcely used Krita before, and never had used the other two.
The Jam started yesterday, 9th Jan 2021, and will be over by the 23th, so it's 15 days total.
I'm working on my own. Yes, I'm aware I may not finish anything of much worth on time... 😬
Finished my first day of #MyFirstGameJamWinter2021 yesterday at around midnight here... clocked out after a 10hourish shift, many Renpy tutorials and sad realizations about my art and writing skills, lol.

I managed to edit my writing a bit, complete 3 sprites for side images (which are prolly not 100% done), make a basic bg / scenario (not sure I'll use it), and script half of two scenes on Renpy.
There's still a lot to fix in just that, but I'm glad for the day's productivity.
I even treated myself to a little vegan anko dorayaki. Not that I was not gonna eat it anyway.
