Thank you so much to everyone who expressed interest in and/or signed up for this year’s event. Unfortunately, despite the enthusiasm in our November interest check, we didn’t receive nearly enough sign-ups to move forward as planned.

We’ve decided to cancel this year’s advent. While we’re disappointed, we’re incredibly grateful to those of you who did sign up and hope you’ll still enjoy making something creative for the fandom to enjoy this December.

❄ M&T Advent 2024 ❄

Welcome to the @mattandtrey-advent, our annual holiday challenge celebrating Matt Stone & Trey Parker! This year we will be running a “12 days of Christmas” themed event, running from Dec. 14th to Christmas Day, Dec. 25th. Every day there will be a new M&T themed post made by our lovely fandom, subsequently reblogged here.

We’ve decided that, based on the poll results, we’re going to run Matt and Trey Advent again this year! However, there will be a small change to the usual format. This year we will run the event for the 12 Days of Christmas (14 – 25 December) rather than starting on the 1st.

We’ll open signups soon, so start planning your creations if you'd like to participate this year! We can’t wait 🩷

Since 2022, @mattandtrey-advent has run a calendar-based event, with new Matt and/or Trey posts going live daily in December. These posts are made by signed-up participants from the fandom! You can see all the creations made for previous years here. They include collages, playlists, picspams, tarot decks, fanart, colouring pages, browser games, crafts, cocktail recipes, edits, gifs, cosplay, memes, wallpapers, quizzes, recs, and more.

The purpose of this post is establishing interest in the event running again for 2024. If you’d participate—aka sign up to create something—please vote yes in the below poll. If you’d like to see new M&T stuff on your dash this December but not create, choose the second option. (If you’re not interested at all, please ignore this post.) We’d appreciate a signal boosting reblog however you vote!
