Requested by @kage-bot! I coincidentally rewatched the movie recently, it was more upsetting than I remembered!! Great time, of course. I stuck VERY close to my references while drawing this sweetheart as insects are an unknown territory for me. Very challenging but I learned a lot. 🦗

Yes I have a long way to go at drawing bonkles and no one asked but here are my bionicle Toa ocs :

Holga is a Toa of Fire. His signature power is that he can create small tiny nuclear explosions. Think of an atomic explosion but not that destructive and around only like ten meters damage.

Haimer is a Toa of Earth. He wears a mask that locks every sense including sight and hearing and entirely uses feelings of being connected to Earth to live and fight because whatever was and is and will be happens on Earth and Haimer can sense it all and see it with spirit. Or at least sixth sense is what I would say.

Suumi is a Toa of Ice. He used to be disliked for being antisocial. Because of this he went in contract with one of the powerful Makuta of his time to be able to have a friend. He later gets cured by his Toa brothers but because of contacting the shadow his right hand is now completely corrupted with waves of shadow around it.

Sage is a Toa of Air. He often suffocates his enemies by changing the pressure of Air around their head. He has a collection of bones of savage Rahi or sometimes more bigger threats and can be very prideful but he is still a good person at heart.

Venka is a Toa of Stone. He is also a very good craftsman who creates useful tools for both himself and his companions. He can be a tad more serious than other Toas of his kind but still enjoys some fun here and there.

Varshu is a Toa of Water. She can create small tsunamis or tornadoes in Water. She gets along with almost anyone as long as they're not awful.
