Comping in ae
Tay has been working hard refining the particles for both of our shots, I have rendered the pass and taken it into nuke however this is the result, in AE it looked much better using the blending modes and various things.

interactive lighting
Here’s a first version of the interactive lighting, it definitely looked better when Geraint did it but it’s a start, we have the bump map and idea down, just need to work on particles and refine this model because you can see the black outlines of where things don’t match

Roles
On our last joined project (music video) me and tay basically shared every single role and shot, however on this project we have worked more separated:
When it came to filming, we shared this role equally, we both helped with the camera work and directing. This was completely even.
Here’s a list of what I have done for the project:
Closed box - I have done this shot entirely
(Particles for this shot) - this was an even effort - equally shared between us
Establishing shot - I have done this shot entirely
Skull shot - I have done this shot entirely
Arm veins - I have done this shot entirely
(Tay shared her asset from the other shot with veins in it, however I changed this asset around and animated it myself)
Poverty - I have done the comp work 
Tay made the crack originally and animated it, it went through many different alterations from us both but in the end, we used one of her version in the end.
Tay also did the prep for this shot, she did all the cleanup on this plate
Window shot - I have done the comp and cleanup/prep on this shot
Tay created the matte painting for this shot
As you can see I have completed 3 shots completely by myself, and another 2 I have worked half and half with Tay on.
When it came to pre production, this is all separate because we researched our own shots however when we were developing the idea, I obviously came late into the group but still helped with concept development and planning.
Editing:
I did the offline edit
Tay did the online edit, following the original but including extra sounds and changes that we had made along the project

This is nearly the finished version of the shot, the only thing that I’m not sure is the bottom piece of the window sill. But, thinking about this and comparing to the real original plate, this would just be the sky reflecting instead of the city. The lightwraps help the effect too.

Lightwrap
To sink the photo into the comp better I tried to first change where the window was chopped off, this chopped out the grey outline but made it look very fake so instead I’ve used a lightwrap to soften the edges, this is the result and looks so much better!

Today I’ve been working on this window shot for a while, I’ve started by trying to do the classic C4D cleanup but this just doesn’t work (I’m going to try this tomorrow with Geraint)

I’ve returned to the model again to import the window piece so that when i project the whole window, it doesn’t have a see through piece in the middle.
I’ve used this geometry to project the entire window plate onto instead of just replacing the corners, this works a lot better.
I’ve also tried projecting the window onto a card and this works better than the geometry so I will be keeping this.

I have placed the cards in the perspective but the real geo doesn’t work, with some keyframes and tweaks this works now

Edit
Today we have been focused on getting the edit up to scratch, we have re edited the piece, recorded audio to match the new edit and even worked on getting some new sound effects and songs to go with the piece.
The edit is looking good and once we get the new shots done, all we need to do is grade!

Final Script v1
According to Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman placed on earth.
She was created by the Gods, each giving her a gift.
She was drawn to one gift in particular, a gift from Zeus, which she was told could NEVER be opened.
However, Pandora couldn’t contain her curiosity.
*cuts to black, then opened box*
For Pandora didn’t realise that Zeus had packed the box full of all the terrible evils he could think of and so she unintentionally unleashed pain and suffering upon the world.
She had released old age and weakness
Agonising disease and illness rapidly consumed the world, spreading immense suffering across millions of people
What once was a thriving world, fell into poverty and hardship. As resources depleted, hope started to diminish.
The only certainty surrounding the world was death and sorrow
Pandora looked upon the misery and torment she had unleashed, blaming her own curiosity.
The blame she placed upon herself drove her to insanity, however, still inside the box remained one thing, the means needed to restore humanity. Hope.
