CBS Fall Schedule

CBS has unveiled its 2025 Fall schedule and Sheriff Country will air on Friday at 8 (just before Fire Country).

Due West premiered at the Dallas Film Festival on April 26 2025. Some pictures have been posted on the film official instagram.

In the article I posted earlier, there was a mention of another project but I couldn't find other mention anywhere (it doesn't show on his imdb page), the source is serious and hours later it's still here so I think it's true...

According to Deadline, Matt will next be seen in JJ Abrams new show Duster, starting May 15 on Max:

"Lauria will next be seen recurring in JJ Abrams’ period thriller drama series Duster for Max as Izzy’s (Camille Guaty) oncologist boyfriend."

Synopsis: Straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox (Baccarin), the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Fire Country‘s Diane Farr), investigates criminal activity as she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater while contending with her ex-con father (W. Earl Brown) and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter.

Lauria will play Boone, Sheriff Mickey Fox’s smart, tough and capable deputy and longtime partner. Originally from Oakland, he’s used to a different kind of policing. Their contrasting law enforcement styles makes their partnership both complex and occasionally tense because Boone feels that he was passed over for the sheriff position.

"Backdoor pilot" already aired in April 2024 (Fire County 2x06) and CBS ordered the show a few weeks later.

Hi!

No. I don't remember him commenting on it publicly. It was like "one day it's here, the next it's gone". I thought he had said something about deleting his twitter account in an interview years ago but couldn't find it and I won't speculate.

I'm going to use this post to say once again Matt Lauria doesn't have any public social media we know of. You'll find some namesake so be careful.
