Rockery renovation 15/02/17. The original rockery was looking neglected. We raised the height of the front retaining wall and soil level. Then added a layer of gravel for good drainage. Then a mix of good topsoil, horticultural sand and leaf mould. Finally we added some new plants: Osteospurmum Serenity, Santolina chamaecyparissus (cotton lavender) and French Lavender ‘Kew red’.

A before and after of a dry stone wall job currently in progress. The flower bed is going to be held back by a low dry stone wall. I will add photos of the completed job next week if all goes well!
