personal favorite little sequence ♥️ very harmonious, character driven composition (clear lead distinction) and great aspect ratio for film; shot almost fixed for better appreciation. a nice contrast between how he meets the wide lateral attack with the blade and the short horizontal attack with the axe. the blocking!! 😍 especially beautiful in Castañeda's soft hands. combination block/hold/strike to throat + block/strike to groin. just lovely

Headcanon that Five is doing his equations in his notebook while he sits on top of luther's back while Luther does push ups, Diego is the one who's holding a timer and yelling at him to "move faster" whenever he's about to mess up. And Allison passes by and questions what the hell her weird brothers are doing but doesn't anyway.

for me nothing beats him betraying Diego. That's the most out of character shit he could do. I know the Lila thing is part of it. But it's not as bad that he fell in love with her as it is that he acted on it
