For reboot Vergil when/if he pops back in to the Human Realm from Hell:

Dude has to go clothes shopping at a thrift store and go to a laundromat to do his laundry, because he doesn't technically have anywhere to live or money. Like, if the bank/government froze all his assets because of the whole terrorism charges thing (and also maybe because his twin and his sorta ex-girlfriend stole his identity after he disappeared). Welcome to your big brother's shitty life, my guy.

Granted, reboot Vergil is good enough with tech he could probably just steal somebody else's identity and/or rob some rich people if he really needs cash and a place to sleep, but like. Still.

How do you think he'd handle it?

oh i think he would handle that horribly.

the idea of a laundromat is probably like...his worst nightmare forget the rest of it dfghjkl he's too much of a control freak, too much of a germaphobe, to do well having to share facilities like that and not have a place to stay. plus he's never been without his entire life, suddenly not having access to anything like...i don't think he could do it.

with my fanon of stuff, i imagine he'd probably then run to his adopted parents and come knocking on their door. he has a good relationship with them, and in my understanding of canon only limbo city got as destroyed as it did due to the hellgate being like...in the city. in my fanon, his parents live in another city an hour and a half out so they're house is safe and he has a good relationship with them, i think he could go home and there'd be open arms and a lot of tears. (they would bury a body for him if there are any charges on his head they do not care fghjk)

the other interesting option, of course, is him crawling back to kat and dante asking them for help. im presuming in this scenario he can't go back to hell or he's had a change or heart so him having to beg them for forgiveness or allowing him back into their lives is very fun i think. (and kat is a softy she will probably beg dante to let him come back, as much as she is pissed at him)

there are many bad halsin takes in the world but by far the worst one is the assumption that because he's both 1. very sex-positive and open about his feelings and 2. cares deeply about children and wants to be a parent, he must be a child predator.

and it's like no??? he only ever flirts with other adults, and he's incredibly kind and respectful around children? parents are allowed to have active sex lives with other adults, that's how kids get siblings lol.
