[slips a phone in Aidan's pocket and steps away form him] It's a private line, they won't be able to spy on the conversations. Call me when you change your mind. [sighs and turns around, making a door for himself through the metal wall and sealing it close after he stepped out in the open] 

… [silent because he couldn’t dispute Max’s words. If he came back Max would be put away in a prison he’d never escape much like the rest of the uncontrollable ones. The fear of that fact made him hold the boy tighter, pull him closer wishing he knew how to save him] I don’t know what else to do, Max. [this, much like their love, was complicated. Feeling a need to be with the yin to his yang. But knowing the opposition that drew them together always tore them apart in the end. When he reached up and kissed him he knew it did not help. Only making him want to keep the at his side more. But after what seemed like forever of their lips being joined, he pulled away again] I’m sorry, Max. You should go before someone spots you.

[max-blare]

I did come back for you. That's the reason I'm hetre now, but you have to come with me, Aidan. Do you think after everything they'll let me live in the base as freely as you? They will lock me up and we'll never see each other again if. You know I'm right. 

[Aidan couldn’t explain the way being claimed by Max made him feel. A sense of validation of worth he often lacked before he fell in love with his deadly beloved] Max, you have to come back to me. You have to be here where I can keep you from harming others. Or putting yourself in danger out there. We can’t be free of this place till we no longer pose a threat to others. I see that more than ever now. [stroking Max’s cheek with his thumb as he tried to will his tranquility through his touch. Finding it almost ironic how he was speaking of keeping other’s alive while covered in someone’s blood]

[max-blare]

[takes Aidan's hands by the wrists and holds on tightly onto them] They weren't innocent, Aidan, they came after us to take us back and they managed to steal you from me. They were soldiers. You belong to me and you belong with me. Stop fighting against me already, when we can be so happy together. 

[his hands went to the side of Max’s face. Holding his attention so their eyes would stay unbroken] Max, I love you. I want nothing more than to be at your side….but you can not just take a life because they ‘bother’ you. And I can’t be with you while you slaughter innocent people. [their lips so close as he spoke though they stayed separated]

[max-blare]

... [the resistance in his lover filled Max with sadness] I killed only those stupid enough to provoke me. Innocent, or not, they shouldn't have stood in my way. 

[the fire of his lust burned behind his icy blues as his heart raised. Breaking their locked eyes occasionally to stare at Max’s lips. Wanting to agree with the words spelling out from the sweet mouth he craved to feel on his. But knowing that there was one flaw in Max’s statement of freedom] Even if that power is used to kill others without cause?

[max-blare]

I've missed you, too. [whispers in the air between their lips, foreheads pressed against one another and Max running his hands up Aidan's arms] ... Turn myself in? For what? [he pulled back just a little, voice still calm] They wanted to use me as a weapon to blindly follow orders I didn't agree with. I ran away, because I wanted to be free from them, Aidan. They don't own me and they don't have the right to decide what I do with my powers. 

[he wanted to reach out and take hold of him. Kiss him…blow him. Have him in every way they once had] God…I’ve missed you…. [taking a hard swallow trying to keep his composure] Turn yourself in, Max. It’s not safe for you out there.

[max-blare]

No. We never tried this. You never came with me and you should do it now. Aidan, we can be together. [looks sadly in the other's eyes] God, your eyes are so beautiful. 

[their eyes locked and Aidan felt weak. The ice of his heart melting away, breathing his ex in. Remembering a time where he wouldn’t hesitate to run away with the boy at the drop of a hat] No….I can’t. [tearing his eyes away] We tried that before and it didn’t end well.

[max-blare]

I won't be here for long. Just enough time for you to pack your things and come with me. So we can be together. [his body now pinning Aidan's against the wall, eyes and lips heavy with lust for the boy] Aidan, come with me. 

[Aidan new the smart thing would be to sake a spike of ice and stab it through Max’s chest. But the closer he came the weaker his will became. He hadn’t let go of his guard completely but the touch of his finger caused him to shiver more from lust than fear] Yes… [he answered with all truth] …but that does not change the fact you should not be here.

[max-blare]

[he laughed. It was a short sound that didn't sound as amused as real laughter did] For the purpose of seeing you. I missed spending time apart from my boyfriend. [he reached over to touch Aidan's cheek, as the metal door shut close and the lock turned to keep them safe from people's eyes] Did you miss me as much as I missed you?

[the smile causing a chill up his spine and a warmth in his heart. Drawing him in but making him step back when Max stepped closer. His powers not visibly active but readied to potentially defend his life] See me for what purpose?

[max-blare]

[pushes himself off, a smile on his face] Take a guess, but I think it's pretty obvious why I'm risking everything to come in the base of the enemy. I wanted to see you. 

[the voice was too familiar to miss. Aidan jumped back ready to defend himself when he spotted his lost love] Max….what are you doing here?

[max-blare]

[leans against the locker that contains Aidan's changing clothes, waiting casually for him, while looking at his nails] Took you long enough. I've been waiting forever. 

[returns to the base on a transport carrier along with a few others. His gear covered in a bit of blood, not his own. The team of three stood in line for a debriefing from their team leader and then were dismissed. Aidan making his way to change out of his gear]

[max-blare]

Babe, it's just a coma. Trust me, it will be fine, you have no need to worry. The guy can use the rest anyway. [takes the hug as an encouraging sign and smiles, hugging aidan back] Sure, babe. I'll think of something else, don't worry.

Because it’s wrong Max! [his tone slightly higher than his usually calm] I will do anything for you. Anything…but I won’t have someone’s blood on my hands. Or yours. I can’t build a happy life at the cost of someone else’s. That’s not going to change. [wrapping his arms around Max tightly] Can we please just let this go? Can we please just find some other way?

[max-blare]

[frowns, confused to Aidan's reaction] Why not? What's the big deal, it's just one guy! Your friend Charlie will be fine, so what's the problem? Aidan, think about it, we can be out of here, we just have to take one obsticle out of the way.

[hearing him talk made Aidan wish he never brought up the subject of leaving. His skin warmed from the touch of Max’s lips but he pulled away] Max stop it! I don’t want to talk about this anymore. [fear of what Max might do etched in his tone] Please…if you really care about me…don’t hurt him.

[max-blare]

I'll do it, it's fine. I don't mind at all. [his shoulders relax when Aidan touches his face, the peacefullness trying to kill out the fine roaring inside of him] Aidan I've been here for years... There's no other way to stay out of their sight unless that guy is out of the picture. [grabs Aidan's wrists and places a soft kiss on one of them] It will be fine, we can just slip him in a coma.

[flinches at Max hitting the wall, closing his eyes] No Max. I’m not a killer. And I won’t condone killing someone innocent either. [feeling the heat of anger pouring off of Max caused Aidan to finally look up at him, his hands going to Max’s face. Trying to calm him] Please…don’t ask that of me. We’ll find another way.

[max-blare]

[hits the wall behind aidan with a fist, furious at the refusal] Why the hell not?! It's just one person and we can be out of here in no time, safe and sound, without having to worry they will come after us. Aidan, come on.

[for a moment Aidan considered it. A life on the run with Max sounded far better than a life here at the Manor with people he had no desire to be around. His eyes lighting up wide and eager…but the light quickly died. If he could he would’ve pulled away. Being backed into the corner he had nowhere to go so instead he looked away] No Max. I told you. As much as I want to be free of this place and just be with you…I won’t do it at the cost of my friend’s life.

[max-blare]

[hands were on Aidan's shoulders as he started to talk, overtaken by the idea of getting out of this place] No one can hurt us if we're together, Aidan. I control metal, they can't hold me down when I flip my shit. Never could, that's why they leave me to do what I want. And you, you control water. If we're together they can't stop us. They won't be able to hunt us down if their little tracker is dead. We can do it, babe. [his eyes were wide and dengerously shinning]

[hearing Max say he’d never hurt him seemed to make the echos of everyone else’s voice in his head die out. Holding on to his boyfriend’s words and putting all his faith into him. When he was backed into the corner his thoughts were expecting something lustful to happen. Instead he too looked around as if someone was watching and spoke in a whispered tone] Do you…meant it? Do you think we could just go? They’d hunt us down Max….or worse. [clinging to Max and pulling him closer] I don’t know what I’d do if you were hurt.

[max-blare]

... Okay, maybe I started it too, but it wasn't intentional. [shakes his head and lifts up Aidan's face] Everyone in this place is a complete moron. I won't hurt you, Aidan, I would never dare. I care too much for you. [bites his lip and looks over his shoulder, then backens Aidan in the corner of the room and whispers] We can do it, babe. You and I. We can run off if you want us to.

Yes….I started this. [shaking his head with a roll of his eyes] And I’m not doubting you Max. It’s just….I hate how everyone looks at us and believes I’m going to get hurt by being with you. [he scoffed] Even you thought that at one point…but all I want is just to be happy with you. Away from them all. [eyes dropping as he spoke just above a whisper] I wish we could just leave it all.
