Hi Max!

I was thinking and I ended up thinking about Entrap and Blitzwing and then thought how they are like the embodiment of the song “Partners in Crime” By Set it Off because I could just imagine them like running from the autobots with that song playing in the background 😅

Just wanted to share that thought!

Optimus and Entrap knew each other before everything bad happened. He knows of Entrap’s accident and exile, just as Entrap knows of the Elita-1 incident. They weren't close before and don't get close after they meet again

However, theres some trust there. Where Entrap despises most other Autobots, he trusts Optimus to a degree. Especially since he had no voting power in his exile, he had nothing to do with it, he's got no vendetta against him

Optimus is pretty distrusting of him bc he worked for Megatron but eventually learns to trust him after a long time, and after seeing how much Ratchet cares about him

They do have fights tho. Quite often unfortunately

Does Optimus and Entrap become friends??! Or are they doomed plantonic yaoi……………..

DOOMED PLATONIC YAOI IS CRAZY

They don't necessarily become friends but things do get better between them! They become more like brothers but aren't particularly close. Entrap respects Optimus bc he's a Prime and had nothing to do with his exile, so he treats him at least mildly decent. Optimus learns to just back off and let Entrap do his thing, and learns to trust him as time goes on

So things do improve for them but they don't necessarily become besties. They have had several crying sessions together tho

OKAY WELL

Ratchet is like a mother to Optimus, right? Well, Optimus and Knockout (as well as Megatron but he doesn’t count) are together in this! Ratchet automatically had a connection to Knockout due to the fact they’re both medics, but when KO and Oppy got together officially, Ratchet was like “ah fuck, guess I’ve got four sons now”

So yeah! More of a son-in-law position but a son nonetheless! The rest of Team Prime is like Optimus’s kids, so Ratchet’s their grandfather
