THE WITCHES GARDEN - MAGICAL BOTANICAL PRINT - SIGNED
Tumblr media
What could be more pleasant than spending a summer’s afternoon in the Witch’s Garden? We’ll engage in conversation with the Plant Spirits of Mandragora Officinarum and Datura Stramonium (better known as Mr. Mandrake and Ms.Thorn Apple). Mandrake is the most masculine of plants, used in magick pertaining to fertility, lust, protection, and flying ointments. He will have strong opinions! Our Lady Thorn Apple is the most feminine of plants, ruled by the element of Water and the planet Venus. She can offer discussion on many subjects, including seership and sexuality. It should be a very stimulating afternoon! Mind you, these plants are considered poisonous, so you may want to keep that in mind in the course of convening with them. Other attendees include Fly Agaric, Rose, Sunflower, Belladonna, Lavender, Poppy, Bleeding Hearts, Hellebore, Thistle, Dandelion, Sorcerer’s Violet, (also known as Vinca), and their various insect friends. Make sure you write down all the wisdom you have gained into your Book of Shadows immediately upon your return, or you might wake up tomorrow thinking you dreamt it all up!

WOLFSBANE MAGICAL BOTANCIAL MEN'S T-SHIRT
Tumblr media
Wolfsbane (Aconitum Lycoctonum) Men’s T-shirt
Depicting Fenrir the Wolf, Allfather Odin, Huggin and Muggin Ravens, Norse Torc, Werewolves and Wolfsbane Foliage
The wolf was one of the most potent symbols of the Norse world. It represented fearsome strength and doom – it is Fenrir wolf that will begin Ragnarok by swallowing the sun, that will slay and consume the most powerful of the gods as the world ends.
A pair of wolves are the sacred companions of the Allfather, and the symbol of royalty and power across the Nordic world. The Vikings called upon the power of the wolf in the names they gave their children.
Wolfsbane is sometimes associated with Mars because of the helmet-like shape of its flowers, although Cornelius Agrippa said that the Mars association came from the fact that it poisons by reason of too much heat. Wolfsbane apparently can be used to reverse shapeshifting spells and has a folk tradition of protecting homes against werewolves. There was also the belief that witches dipped flints in the juice of wolfsbane and then threw them at an enemy; such flints were called elf-bolts. One scratch was enough to kill, and that is not folklore.
One of the baneful herbs, wolfsbane grows naturally in damp woods in the Alps, where it is a threatened species, and produces sulfur-yellow flowers between June and August. The higher the elevation, the more flowers this plant will get and the longer they will last. It got the name “Wolfsbane” because ancient Germans used it to poison wolves. Bumblebees like this plant because the flower’s shape and color says “come on in!” to them. This aconite does not contain aconitine, like monkshood, but does have lycoctonine, which is just as poisonous. Do not get this plant on your skin; it can cause severe itching and dermatitis, and the sap can be absorbed in a cut. Always wear gloves when handling it. Ingesting even a tiny amount of this plant can be fatal, but it’s great for keeping werewolves out of your yard and is a classic of the witch’s garden.
RUNES DEPICTED:
Left side of torc: The biding of Fenrir
URUZ- the terrifying raw strength of Fenrir ALGIZ (inverted)- binding TIWAZ- Tyr’s rune- it was he who bound Fenrir
Right side of torc: Fenrir devours the Sun and Moon at Ragnarock
SOWILO- sun and daylight KENAZ (reversed)- diminishing light from the torch MANNAZ (inverted)- the fall of mankind
“Great power bound by Tyr. The light devoured, the fall of mankind.”

CELTIC DRAGON MEN'S LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT
Tumblr media
The dragon is a mighty magical animal that appears in British and Welsh stories. It is, of course, a creature of fire but is also related to the Power of the Land. Another word for Ley Lines is Dragon Lines. Another name for raising power is to invoke the “Eye of the Dragon”. The whole Earth was viewed by the Druids as the body of the Dragon. Menhirs and stone Circles were located at great Power nodes. The Celts also called Dragons ‘Fire Drakes’.
Though Somerset has traditionally had a red dragon as an emblem, the red dragon is more commonly associated with Wales, as its national flag features a red dragon (Y Ddraig Goch). This may originate in Arthurian Legend where Myrddin, employed by Gwrtheyrn, had a vision of the red dragon (representing the Britons) and the white dragon (representing the invading Saxons) fighting beneath Dinas Emrys. This particular legend also features in the Mabinogion in the story of Lludd and Llefelys. The legendary house of Pendragon and Celtic Britain in general have become associated with the Welsh dragon standard after the fact.
In Germanic and Norse traditions, dragons were often depicted as a “Lindworm,” a variation on the serpentine creatures known as the wyvern. They usually appeared as monstrous serpents, sometimes with wings and legs, but more often as gigantic snake-like creatures than traditional dragons. The lindworms were seen as evil, a bad omen, and were often blamed for preying on cattle and other livestock. They were particularly greedy creatures, guarding hordes of treasure and most often living in underground caves. Often in Germanic and Norse stories lindworms are actually people whose own greed have led to their transformation into a creature that resembles their sins, the legends of Jormugand, who ate so much he grew to be proportional to the length of the Earth, and Fafnir, the human who killed his own father to inherit his wealth and became a dragon to protect his treasure, being the most famous.
In many cultures dragons are viewed as representing the primal forces in nature and the universe. They can alternately breathe fire, poison or ice. These abilities demonstrate that they are both creators and destroyers. Fire gives life (and sometimes death); ice and poison mete out death. Early muskets were named “dragons” due to their fire-spitting ability. Likewise, muskets can serve either to procure food and preserve life or to dole out death in battle.

MOON PHASES TRIPLE GODDESS LADIES SHORT SLEEVE V-NECK T-SHIRT
Tumblr media
The moon is a feminine symbol, universally representing the rhythm of time as it embodies the cycle. The phases of the moon symbolize immortality and eternity, enlightenment or the dark side of Nature herself. It might reflect inner knowledge, or the phases of man’s condition on earth, since it controls the tides, the rains, the waters, and the seasons. It is the middle ground between the light of the sun and the darkness of night, and thus often represents the realm between the conscious and the unconscious. In astrology, the moon is a symbol of the soul, and in the horoscope it determines the subject’s capacity for reflection and adaptation. It also provides analogy for the stages of human development: the new moon is infancy, the crescent is youth and adolescence, the full moon is maturity and pregnancy, and the waning moon represents the decline of life, sleep.
The Symbol of the Triple Goddess is the Waxing, Full and Waning Moons.
The Triple Goddess has been adopted by many neopagans as one of their primary deities. The term triple goddess is infrequently used outside of Neopaganism to instead refer to historical goddess triads and single goddesses of three forms or aspects.
In common Neopagan usage the three female figures are frequently described as the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, each of which symbolizes both a separate stage in the female life cycle and a phase of the moon, and often rules one of the realms of earth, underworld, and the heavens. These may or may not be perceived as aspects of a greater single divinity. The feminine part of Wicca’s duotheistic theological system is sometimes portrayed as a Triple Goddess, her masculine counterpart being the Horned God.
Triple Goddess “Maiden, Mother, and Crone” – The Triple Goddess is known and worshiped in Pagan cultures all over the world. She is eternal, yet always in a state of change. Her colors are white for the maiden, red for the mother and black for the crone.
Maiden- The Maiden aspect represents enchantment, expansion, the female principle, the promise of new beginnings, youth, excitement, and erotic carefree aura. She is innocent in ways, but also a enchantress who recognizes the power of her sexuality.
Mother- The Mother is ripeness, fertility, fulfillment, stability, and power. The Mother is ripe, full breasted, at the peak of her womanly powers. She is the one who tenderly and lovingly rocks the baby, but she is also the lioness who hunts to feed her offspring and will fight to the death to protect them.

POSEIDON SEA GOD MEN'S LS T-SHIRT
Poseidon is a god of many names. He is most famous as the god of the sea. The son of Cronus and Rhea, Poseidon is one of six siblings who eventually “divided the power of the world.” His brothers and sisters include: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Zeus. The division of the universe involved him and his brothers, Zeus and Hades. Poseidon became ruler of the sea, Zeus ruled the sky, and Hades got the underworld. The other divinities attributed to Poseidon involve the god of earthquakes and the god of horses. The symbols associated with Poseidon include: dolphins, tridents, and three-pronged fish spears.
Poseidon was relied upon by sailors for a safe voyage on the sea. Many men drowned horses in sacrifice of his honor. He lived on the ocean floor in a palace made of coral and gems, and drove a chariot pulled by horses. However, Poseidon was a very moody divinity, and his temperament could sometimes result in violence. When he was in a good mood, Poseidon created new lands in the water and a calm sea. In contrast, when he was in a bad mood, Poseidon would strike the ground with a trident and cause unruly springs and earthquakes, ship wrecks, and drownings.

CELTIC MERMAID GODDESS AINE LS T-SHIRT
Large front print with 2 long sleeve prints.
The Goddess Aine has three forms: a mermaid, a young woman and a hag. As a Celtic mermaid she lives at the bottom of Lough Gur (Enchanted Lake).  As a young woman she is a powerful creative goddess, who made the fairy people and gave life to the earth. As a hag she defends her realm under the lake.
One day, the Earl of Desmond found Aine in her Celtic mermaid form combing her hair by the lake. He sneaked up on her and stole her magic cloak, which put her in his power. She agreed to bear the Earl a son in exchange for her freedom. This boy grew up to be exceptional in every way, once jumping into and out of a bottle. Later, due to a curse, he was condemned to spend eternity under the lake with his mother.
It is said that once every seven years Lough Gur dries up and you can see the sacred tree at the bottom of it. The tree is guarded by Aine in her hag form, while she knits the fabric of life. A man on horseback once tried to steal her cloth, but Aine made the waters of the lake retrieve the cloth, and a part of the horse as well.
The King of the Gold Mines was once accused of adultery by his wife-to-be because he was given a present by Aine. In her Celtic mermaid form she has made a likeness of him out of magic seaweed. The story ends tragically when the king is killed and his betrothed dies of grief. Mermaid Aine changed the lovers into two palm trees that grow together.
