AESTHETIC LEGACY - GEN 1

SPENSER NIXON - GEEK

I saw that there was an aesthetic legacy challenge, however, I'm terrible at following rules and after a while challenges tend to bore me. So I decided to do an aesthetic legacy, no challenge, just a legacy. I went on Wiki and found a crazy list of different aesthetics and added them to a wheel and spun. Out of 93 options, the first generation received, Geek.

According to Wikipedia, the definition is as follows, "The term "Geek" initially described people perceived as eccentric or outside mainstream culture. Contemporary usage typically denotes an expert or enthusiast, often someone deeply engaged with a hobby or intellectual pursuit, particularly in areas like technology." (https://aesthetics.fandom.com/wiki/Geek).

The portion about being "deeply engaged with a hobby" struck my interest and Spenser Nixon was born. Spenser is a young adult living in San Sequoia. Being an only child, he always had lots of time in solitude to himself. While in his room, he would often watch anime, read comics, and draw his own cartoon characters. He has always been a little awkward, or cringe if you will. During his teen years, Spenser really noticed how different he was from everyone else. He didn't care about sports, sneaking out, or going to parties. His passions ranged from art, to music, to video games, and eventually tattoos. One day while channel surfing, he stumbled upon a competition show called, The Masters of Ink. From there, he decided that he wanted to become a tattoo artist.

Currently, he lives in his parents basement, in their San Sequoia row home. They don't mind him still living at home, especially his mom. She loves her baby boy. His parents had issues having children for a long time, so when Spenser was finally born, they coddled him. Spenser dreams of opening his own tattoo shop one day. He just needs to save enough money.

life changes ⏳

After finding out they were pregnant again, Aubree and Max hosted a small gender reveal party at her mom, Naomi's, house. They were so happy to find out that they were having a boy! The perfect family, one girl and one boy. Aubree's pregnancy went by very smoothly and she gave birth to her son, Atlas Villareal. He's so freaking cute! For the last few months, they have been looking for a family home because their high-rise apartment is becoming crowded.

Now that their child has been born, Max and Aubree have gotten back to focusing on themselves a bit. Getting back to their normal workout routines has felt refreshing after being in the house for weeks with a newborn and a toddler. Being that Max works in the fitness/health field, he has made both of them a workout plan to stick to.

Over in Brindleton Bay, Tyrese's kids have picked up some new hobbies. Ashley has started ballet and girl scouts. Her instructor believes she is a natural ballerina and loves having her in class. This information was surprising for Tyrese because she is a total terror at home. This girl literally has the mean trait and has difficult dynamics with most of her siblings. On the other hand, Ivy begged her dad for a styling chair so that she can start doing other people's hair. Her siblings are often guinea pigs for practicing her skills. However, she's getting quite good. I think after high school, I'm going to have her open a salon. Forrest has joined the swim team at Copperdale High. Sorry I don't have any pics for that.

Olivia Rae has been in pure mommy mode for years and has lost focus on herself. She loves her children, but this was never the plan for her life. She has four toddlers in her household right now. Her kids age from oldest to youngest: 4, 3, 2 + Duane's child he had outside of the relationship. I'm tired lol. Olivia Rae enrolled in Nursing school, based on her few university credits and graduating from high school with honors. She feels like her original dreams of becoming an actress are no longer going to happen, so she decided to help others instead. Also, being a mom of four and the eldest daughter, she has a natural nurturing essence about her. Recently, she passed her final nursing exam and is now doing clinicals at the hospital.

Aside from school, Olivia Rae has also decided to take control of her health and start working out again. Her cousin, Aubree, has been motivating her a lot to go to the gym as well. So far, Olivia Rae has been able to lose 50 lbs. She also wanted to lose weight with a special day in mind.

On a very warm summer day, Duane and Olivia Rae got married! Their budget was tight, so they rented decor to set up in their backyard. Olivia's grandfather, Arnold, officiated the wedding being that he is a pastor. Her father walked her down the aisle as well. The whole family was able to come and enjoy the wedding and the after party. This game is so broken, the wedding was actually a mess but I digress. Olivia Rae Brown is now officially; Olivia Rae Talla!

my investor is better than yours 🤑

Nomi's angel investor, Aedan Bishop, is a successful commercial realtor/investor. He owns multiple properties around Lenox and Port Sycamore such as, The Galleria Mall and some rental properties as well. He found this space in West Park for Nomi to view as a potential spot for her store. She brought her brother Niles along to take photos of the space for future reference. Nomi loves the space and can't wait to start bidding on it.

baby #2!!! 🍼

they've been back home from their trip to Sulani for a couple weeks now and Aubree started feeling weird. after putting it off for a few days of thinking, she decided to finally take a pregnancy test. i had her on birth control, so i thought there was no way she could be pregnant.

unlike their first pregnancy, Max was actually really happy when Aubree told him the news. they are in a good place right now in life, so having another baby doesn't sound like too bad of an idea to them. it's going to be tough, but Aubree needs to finish her junior year of college (currently about to enter the spring semester). baby villareal is on the way!!

new hobbies 💇🏾‍♀️

Ivy has always loved all things hair, ever since she was really little. her mom would take her to the beauty shop every month to get her hair done. now that she's older (14 now to be exact), she has learned to do her own hair. her dad has no problem paying for her to go to the shop, but making wigs is very fun for her. for her first time, she got some inspo online for a curly wig. something fun and full for the spring time.

she's so young and already so good. for now she's going to make some wigs for her sisters and cousin as practice. but maybe she will make this into a potential income stream in the future?

birthday celebrations in sulani 🏝

Max surprised Aubree with a family trip to Sulani! Pilar was born on Aubree's birthday, so she and her mommy share their special days (at first i didn't like the idea of this but it's cute). Aubree's mom, Naomi and her little sister Araceli were also invited on the trip. their luxury air-bnb had an amazing open air deck with a bar and pool. the girls enjoyed this very much and had fun sitting out and catching some sun.

Naomi baked Pilar an amazing two-tier cake (she also baked one for Aubree but it's not shown). while the girls went out, Max set up a gift table for his girls and he went all out. he got Aubree some Nordstrom goodies, macaroons, a $100 gift card, a new journal, and bottle so that she can bring in her 21st birthday the right way. he got Pilar a Toys-R-Us gift set (it came with soo many toys and books).

during the trip, Max and Aubree did get some alone time for the first time since Aubree was born. it was very much needed for them to remind themselves that they are 21 year-olds who deserve to have a good time as well. they have been so focused on Pilar that they were losing a bit of their youthfulness. i am very proud of them for how amazing they have been as parents. like literally the best set of parents in my game lol. however, reality is going to definitely settle in when they get back home because now they have a toddler...i can't believe Pilar is two now!!!

mercedes' quinceanera 💙

Mercedes is turning 15 (internally crying because she's growing up) this winter season (our capricorn queen 🐐). she told her parents that she wanted a big birthday party, so for months Yara has been planning her quinceaneara (in my story canon, Yara is dominican). *Fun fact: I was in my bestie's quince back in the day irl. most fun I ever had at a bday party* Mercedes closest friends came over to her house to get ready for the party. (left to right: Andrea Landgraab, Raquel Rodriguez, Stone Humphrey, Mercedes Brown, and Yamilet Foote). they have all been friends since middle school.

while getting ready, the girls went to the kitchen to grab some of the food that Yara made for them, leaving Stone and Mercedes alone for a moment. however, Julius was not having that and promptly interrupted their conversation.

at the party...

there had to be something in the air because everyone was wildin' at this party. Julius started dancing with Yara's sister, Bianca all on the dance floor (we are definitely dealing with that later, yara didn't want to ruin Mercedes' moment). also, grandma Donna and Mercedes' grandma, Juanita had little Araceli sitting at the bar just talking like she's grown. definition of being in grown folks business. also, Olivia Rae's ex-boyfriend and first baby daddy, Sidney Price showed up uninvited. they haven't seen each other in years...she was staring him down so hard. At one point, she tried to seductive dance with him but the interaction cancelled out. mind you, she's engaged. Yara went all out with the food spread; roast duck and chicken, tarts, fruits, cupcakes, chocolate fountain, multiple cakes...it was all there.

then it was time for Mercedes and Stone to do their formal dance, since he was her date. they looked so adorable. Mercedes was on cloud nine the whole night. the girl never smiled so much, i swear.

after a while, she blew out her candles and opened her presents. Mercedes got a lot of beauty products, a camera, an xbox, and some new clothes for her gifts. she is so grateful to her parents for making her big day very special. they really went all out.

overall, Mercedes had a great 15th birthday! it was everything she ever wanted. she looked so beautiful for her big day. both sides of her family were so excited to be there and celebrate her growing up.

new baby? 🍼🌈

so Julius and Yara did a thing without my knowledge...

i haven't been playing in their household as of recently because i've been working on other storylines with other family members. i loaded back into their house and they have a new baby? the Browns never fail. not knowing exactly when she was even born, i aged her up to an infant and randomly rolled her zodiac sign. (She's a Libra ♎). they named her Melody. (mind you this is the second time Yara and Julius have done this but the other baby unfortunately did not make it.)

i'm currently working on family photos for the Browns. everyone is getting dressed up in full glam...can we talk about how Ivy is lowkey the supreme of the family?? This is my first time seeing her in full face makeup because she's a teen. I try to keep my teens as natural as possible. She's eating the girls up honestly.
