Project Inventory

I once again find myself enmeshed in a book project, so perhaps it will help me to list out what I currently (as of January 2023) think the scope is:

Two years have passed since I originally completed my English translation of the Fudo Method in its entirety, and in the time since I have come to wish strongly that I had an abbreviated method for quick use that was clearly laid out without unnecessarily elaborate notation.

Following on from the last point, abbreviated practice directions for Sho-Kannon and the Komyo Shingon are likewise in order.

One of the main points of this book since conception was the transcription and translation of some of the methods described in the documents given to me by my master. This is the most difficult point, and the most likely to change as the project goes on.

Finally, having had a year to work with the Sutra Book I completed in 2022, I have realized that I should probably print a simple and straightforward Gongyou order, since none is clearly listed in the previous book. This desire may be best served in a separate volume, since I would like to have a printed copy of the Shichi Bongo Shomyo and the Rishu-Kyo for recitation that weren't just loose paper, but I fear the page number may start to grow out of control, and the point of listing things out like this is scope CONTROL, not creep. :P

The days have begun to lengthen again, I can feel it. Whatever spirit wants to live beyond the books my master left me moves in me this winter just like it did last year. Let's see if I can't let it speak before the summer melts it again
