New Project Context
After much re-evaluating, I Decided to take a step back from the focus of archetypes and what they entail. After mindmaping and researching, I re-vistited previous ideas that I hadn't explored in depth before. These ideas shipped my project into what it is in its final form now.
1) The Shadow:
Carl Jung touched on a dark figure in his philosophy/ Phycology. This being the shadow. Carl Jung defined this as  “The aspects of the personality that we choose to reject and repress. For one reason or another, we all have parts of ourselves that we don’t like—or that we think society won’t like—so we push those parts down into our unconscious psyches. It is this collection of repressed aspects of our identity that Jung referred to as our shadow self.”
Each of the 12 archetypes casts a shadow. Their shadow more often than not, portrays the repressed feelings commonly being opposite to what defines them.
2) The Elder scrolls & Gaming:
The elder scrolls is a game that I used to play when I was a kid. In this expansive fantasy game, set in a magical world, there are godlike beings called “Divines” or “Daedra”, each of which has unique behaviours and worshippers. In the game you choose which Divine you would like to follow, like a “character selection screen”. This made me think of how ancient Greeks and Norse worshippers chose their gods, much like a kid choosing a character to play in a game.
3) Retro Gaming:
The retro style came out of the focus on childhood gaming as theme. I used photoshop to make each archetype digitalised and pixilated.
The results of these three ideas, ended in the final product. Furthermore, in the theme of retro gaming, I used code to represent the shadow of each archetype. As the shadow is the primal/ instinctual code we are all made of, but choose to repress. I also posed the shadows to portray the behaviour of the archetypes individual shadow.
The colour in the background of each image is associated with each archetype. For example white is associated with purity, therefore is used in the "innocent" archetype.

NEW LAYOUT
After receiving feedback on my previous works I have decided to make some alterations to how my images would look, mainly involving the background.
The feedback I received that I wanted to act on is:
“There are too many images in the background and they are all bait distracting”
“What do the images represent? why are they there? is there a purpose or structure to what images you choose for your background?”
“The images in the background are too bold, they stand out too much, and are distracting the viewer from the main archetype subject”
I will be responding to the feedback by:
Reducing the quantity of imagery in the background to only four images
Each image will have a meaning, purpose and pattern.
The background will be blurred and the opacity reduced to a ghostly version of its former self
Here I have deigned a template to portray these changes visually.

Trying out different types background imagery based of feedback I have received
After receiving feedback It was suggested to me to put a single picture behind the archetypes that shows what the archetype is about, and place the archetype onto of the image.
I also tried to put the archetype in the image itself, however I didn't like the result so I won't use it.

Deciding Archetype Hue/ Colour and Symbols
Here I have created a graph of the colour spectrum and on it placed symbols all 12 of Carl Young's archetypes. This is to help me decide what shoe/colours will be associated with each individual archetype.
I will be basing my decision on research on colour psychology and the history of colour. For example the colour red is associated with danger.

THE JESTER ARCHETYPE + Props that I invested in
Like the previous archetype of the outlaw, I used a green screen to help outline the archetype on post production.
I also used two props of a jester hat and neck piece, to embody the jester archetype. I also used a tankard as a prop as it linked to alcohol, partying and having a good time which is what the jester archetype is about.
