im rereading catching fire before reading sunrise on the reaping and there’s a little detail i didnt remember and it is that haymitch was sending the other victors messages through bread in the arena, so finnick was very fixated on any bread that arrived. but katniss of course doesnt know this so she’s just kind of annoyed by it, like finnick is counting the little rolls to figure out the message and katniss just goes “finnick and his fucking bread again🙄🙄”

i will quite literally never get over the scene in catching fire when the jabberjays are released with katniss and finnick. like katniss is wholly calm when she realises that it's Not prim and it's actually just a jabberjay

and then finnick odair comes fucking barreling in like "WHAT DO JABBERJAYS DO KATNISS? THEY COPY. OUR LOVED ONES ARE DYING AND BEING TORTURED AS WE SPEAK. THEY ARE BEING TORTURED. PRIM AND ANNIE ARE GOING TO DIE." and then they both freak the fuck out SO bad BAHAHHAA THEY'RE LIKE STARTLED CATS WHERE ONE FREAKS THE FIRST OUT AND THEN THEY BOTH LOSE THEIR SHIT

Now consider: a man in a dress. Not in drag or all dressed up or anything. No accessories, no makeup or styling, just wearing the dress, some ratty boxers and muddy sneakers. No socks or stockings, hairy legs in the open air, just raw dogging those nasty shoes. Hair mildly damp. Visibly sleep-deprived. Bruises on shoulders, elbows and knees, left palm bleeding. Sitting on a curb on the street, shivering, looking wretched, and absolutely miserable.

HI EVERYPONY!!! Didn't post in quite some time because I've been working on an AU's worldbuilding. I'm preparing something MASSIVE and I have a few things to share with you already:3

It's an au about ARGHHHH PIRATES!!! Because pirates are incredible.

Here are my designs for Fatbeards aka cartmans crew. They are gonna be main antagonists of the comic, but like loser ones, never actually managing to do something cool. The crew is made out of Cartman, clyde, butters, ike and kevin, like in that one episode about pirates:3

I drew their ship too!!!!! Ships are so fun to draw actually...

These are the main characters of the comic. Aside from Mole, he isn't the part of theprotagonist team. Gregory's crew is made out of Tolkien, Wendy and Pip. There are gonna be a few othwr characters to join the main team later on, but it's a secret for now... Hehehe:3

Usually theyre gonna be spending time at a pub. I mean, not heidi and gary, those have their own location in the world but ima keep it a secret for now...!

That's pretty much all that I can tell u about at the moment without giving too much spoilers. Once the lore will be entirely figured out, I'll start drawing!!! It might take some time because I'm also preparing fir getting into an art school atm. BUT ima keep yall updated and will try not to abandon my tumblr page for so long again:P

Something I don't think I've seen people talk about but I'm not actively searching for it so it might've already been discussed but-

The foreign kids.

Pip hates French people.

Christophe is French.

And since I've seen many works of Christophe and Gregory being frenemies (most times because Christophe hates British people, but I don't think that's actually canon), I've come to a conclusion.

Make Pip and Christophe absolutely hate each other.

I want Pip to hate Christophe for being French and his 'stupid smoking habits' and his 'stupid accent' (or whatever people complain about French people idfk) and I want Christophe to hate Pip for somehow being more British than Gregory could ever be. I want to see the prim and proper Pip and the god-hating and foul-mouthed Christophe argue, bicker, fight with a burning passion. I want them to insult each other in the most creative ways. I want them to duel in a battle of fisticuffs. It'd be SUPER funny guys like COME ON!!

Fishlegs ends up doing most of the cooking as camicazi isn’t all that great a chef and hiccup was up past three doing his assignments and hasn’t the energy to make them all meals. With that said, camicazi always wants to make new recipes and buy random ingredients which fishlegs will later have to figure out how to use. also hiccup and camicazi have bandages cause they get kinda beat up in fencing and they like to fight each other for fun.

The sillies in college au. Hiccup and camicazi have their fencing kits with them and fishlegs has a guitar. Hiccup is a natural history major, and I haven’t quite figured out what the other two are. Fishlegs writes poetry, maybe he’s an English or music major. I don’t know why they’d be matching outfits but it’s cute. Oh and toothless is a cat.

Thinking about how movie hiccup got it SO much better than book hiccup. Like movie hiccup just had to lose a limb. Just one little leg and they were even kind enough to make it below the knee. Meanwhile book hiccup has his toes melted in acid, his entire left side is paralyzed, gets bonked on the head so bad he loses his memory and more things i probably forgot. He also does all this while wearing clothes he got when he was like 12 that’s been run so ragged calling them scraps is being generous. Somebody please get this poor boy a fresh set of clean DRY clothes!

just saw an article criticizing the httyd books for having a ten year old protagonist... said the movies fixed it by... by making hiccup older... and then criticized the fact that toothless was small... and that the movies fixed it by making toothless bigger so hiccup could ride him... as iF THE WINDWALKER ISN'T RIGHT THERE!!! it is very well established in book one that these are hunting dragons not riding dragons. there is a DIFFERENCE. anyway the DISRESPECT saying the movies "fixed the books" shut up

Woe, Fishlegs thoughts be upon ye

Throughout the entire series Fishlegs has always been very quick to assume that Hiccup is dead, even though he knows Hiccup's gotten out of so many dangerous situations and been fine, he usually jumps right into Hiccup being dead. And now this can be explained by him just being pessimistic, but more than that, I feel like its his way of trying to prep himself. His worrying and stress over them getting hurt or dying is typically played as a bit silly, but its something he's been told basically all his life, so often, that he won't make it, that he'll get hurt or killed, that something bad is going to happen to him, simply because of who he is, that its not ever far from his mind in day to day life. So his worry starts up right away and he jumps into all these things that could happen. Something starts happening and he immediately starts prepping for getting hurt or killed. And with how quickly he jumps to Hiccup being dead, it shows just how worried he is and how much it would hurt if Hiccup did actually die. Hiccup is the only thing he's had in life, and he's constantly been waiting, expecting to lose him as well. Early on, when they first became friends, it was probably just worry about Hiccup leaving and not wanting to be friends anymore, but eventually, they become such good friends, and he loves Hiccup so much, that as time goes on he doesn't worry about Hiccup leaving anymore, he's worried about Hiccup dying.

Because at least if Hiccup just stopped talking to him, he'd still be alive and ok. Even if he hated him, he'd still be there. But Hiccup sticks with him the whole time, and so all he can do is worry so much about losing him, because then what? What is he supposed to do if Hiccup dies? He has nothing, he has no one, Hiccup is the only one who cares about him, so if he loses Hiccup, he's lost everything. And that's why he assumes! That's why he jumps into Hiccup being dead every time! He jumps into it as a cushion for it; if something happens, and he assumes Hiccup is dead, then if he turns up dead later, it'll still hurt, but also he was already going through it, so because its more a confirmation, an 'i knew it, i told you so' sort of thing, it spreads out the hurt a little bit, but if he hopes that Hiccup is alive, assumes that Hiccup isn't dead, it'll hurt that much more when he finds out that he is dead. He can't afford to hope Hiccup's ok, that he'll come back, that he'll see him again, because it would hurt too badly, it would be too much to Hope only to have that come crashing down again. Its why he always stays with Hiccup no matter what, because that way, if something happens, at least they'll both be dead, and he won't have to be there without Hiccup.

No conclusion here, just Hiccup and Fishlegs.
