It is said that every once in a while everyone needs comfort. Be they the youngest of children, the eldest of men, a woman, a man, a warrior or even… the Queen of Hell. Of course, obviously some needed it more often, some not, but nonetheless everyone did. And as such, when Mazikeen came to sit beside Crowley and leaned against him, he automatically did what felt natural. He slowly and carefully pushed her lower against his body, letting her head fall on his lap. He straightened the beautiful, crowned mask she was wearing and let himself get into a slightly more forgiving position, making sure to keep her comfortable. One of his hands landed on her shoulder and slowly cruised along her hand, then it landed on her chest, just above her breasts where it stayed while he poured his warmth into her suddenly cool body. The other hand went to her long, dark hair and slowly brushed through it only to then play with individual locks, very delicately to give only that pleasant feeling of soft teasing on the scalp. Mazikeen shifted her position, lying on her side, startlingly burying her face in his stomach and wrapping her arms around him. Crowley sat completely quiet as they cuddled on the side of the valley.

I want all of you to know how much I value you all, even if we’re not mutuals, even if we don’t write together every day, even if you’re not a ship partner. It’s amazing to be at this point already. I especially want to thank all of you that have been with me since nearly the beginning because there’s good odds you’ve seen this character grow and develop as well as my own passion for writing him. Starting to get emotional thinking about how amazing and supportive everyone has been, so let’s get on to the shout-outs, shall we?

I neglected to put most multiple accounts of one mun. Easier to say I love all your blogs, but chose the one I interact with the most or the muse that John is most attached to. Otherwise, I might have just forgotten??? Idek, these get so goddamned long that I tend to get overwhelmed by all the people I want to personally thank and love on.

An extra special double long virtual huggle and very real thanks to @gothamblooded. They know why and I can’t say enough how supportive and brilliant they’ve been to me over this past month.

          “Lady Mazikeen.” There’s a bow from Lucifer as she approached. She stopped right in front of him, proud, her expression cold, seemingly rid of any emotion - just as he stood against the world once - strong and determined. The Queen of Hell answered with a slight nod of her head. It’s their third meeting since he came back to the Creation and she hoped this one would be their last.

          Deep within her, there was still a spark of the old sentiment, respect she had for her former lord, the cinders of the curse she managed to break free of. It’s still not easy to shake all the conflicting feelings off, but she’s here with a mission and thus, even though inside her blood was boiling, she’s calm and collected as she spoke up. “You came to ask me for a favour in Hell, Lucifer. Now, I am here so you could pay off your debt.” She stepped aside so that he could see Crowley. “I expect you to help him. Give him back whenever he asks for.” With that, she bowed and turned her head to the Phoenix - a signal for him to speak.

          Only after she moved aside, had Lucifer noticed whom she had brought with herself. Back on the stage, he thought he had felt Firebird’s presence in the air, but ever since he freed Crowley, he’d tried to dull his senses and ignore the longing. Now He stood right next to Her and Lucifer felt the void within himself growing. Although it’s merely seconds of silence between their words, it’s enough for his thoughts to run back to the moment he took Crowley’s journals. He led the Firebird to ex-Lux and at that moment it seemed as it was a better solution than having the Phoenix discover his past all alone. Now, however, with Mazikeen next to Crowley’s side, he was not sure what his intentions were anymore.

                           His mouth fell open as he looked from Mazikeen to the man then back again to the Lilim. Lucifer, the Morning Star, the rebellious child of the Presence, dancing so gracefully for the world to see. It was unimaginable for Crowley and it left him feeling even more lost than before. Lucifer’s movements were gentle and then they were sharp, once again fragile then dominant. It looked hectic, it looked weird, but it was mesmerising. But Crowley couldn’t focus on it. He had other things to do here.

He focused on Mazikeen, waiting for a sign waiting for orders or even a word of anysort as she remained quiet for the longest of times. It was almost disheartening, especially as he noticed a hint of bitterness in the way she glared at the stage. When suddenly she pulled him to follow, he wanted to protest, but since she finally regained her energy, he just tried to match her pace and not drag her down. There was little more he could do now, though he felt a strong sense of uneasiness as he realised they were probably going to approach the Lightbringer.
