Wait- you can get sound effects? Sick! Can you get the sound effect that’s made in salmon run whenever you get equipped with a new weapon at the start of a wave? I’ve never been able to find that one. Also I think there’s a special variant of it for grizco weapons so maybe get that one too while you’re at it.

I’ve wondered how big man even uses ink. Inklings and octolings change their ink color due to… ink! The bigger question is how do other sea creatures play turf? How does BIG MAN use ink in his boss fight? How do salmonoids use ink? They’re not cephalopods! Ink is exclusive to cephalopods!

For big man’s case, (and could apply to salmonoids) It would make sense if he was using a coat of mucus instead of ink in his boss battle. His mucus could be able to change color? But even that guess doesn’t make sense. Cephalopods change color due to their chromatophores stretching with their sacs of ink pigment so Big man can’t just have “color changing mucus”

Its inconsistent, that he could use ink in his boss battle, talk about working in grizzco, and all of that and not able to change color or even be able to use it at all even with a supplied ink tank in certain cases.

I thought of this due to many fans complaining about big man’s splatfest art vs in game. I do think that big man being more colorful in art is a style choice, in comparison to how marina’s tentacles were colored more in comparison to the game. So it makes sense that big man uses lights to reflect onto his mucus layer to make him seem whichever color for splatfest.

But USING ink is a question. Even with an ink tank, cephalopods regenerate/refill it via swimming in their turf. Big man wouldn’t be able to do that in his boss fight…? An ink tank couldn’t be used at all.
