Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at MBS International School School on 31 October 2023 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the ‘Iron Man of India’, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event aimed to instill a sense of national unity and integrity among the students.
The day commenced with students from classes VI to XII taking the National Unity Pledge in the school assembly. This solemn oath emphasised the importance of unity, peace, and harmony, highlighting the principles that Sardar Patel stood for.
A documentary on the life and achievements of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was shown to the students of classes VI & VII in the school auditorium. Following the documentary screening, a quiz competition was also organized for them to test their knowledge about Sardar Patel and his contributions to the nation.
Students of Class VIII participated in an extempore competition on the theme Unity'. Students enthusiastically expressed their thoughts on the importance of unity in the diverse and pluralistic society of India.
The celebration served as a reminder for the importance of unity in our diverse nation and inspired students to work together for the progress and prosperity of India. The day concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and commitment to upholding the unity of the nation.

Outdoor games play a major role not only in building good health but also in team building, companionship, and in developing gross motor skills. Keeping these Physical and Social developments of students in mind MBS International School organised ‘Lemon and Spoon Race’ for the students of Class II.
Traditional but all- time favourite, this race had the spectators in splits watching the children busy balancing their lemons on spoons as they interloped into each other’s tracks.
Children showed sportsmen spirit as they applauded and cheered their friends.

Community helpers play a vital role in our society. Saying thank you to these wonderful individuals doesn't cost much. In order to cultivate the feeling of compassion and empathy among our little ones, MBS International School conducted ‘Our helpers Activity’ on 25 October 2023 where the students of Nursery and Kindergarten were dressed up in the roles of different community helpers such as nurse, policeman, doctor, soldier and teacher, etc. Children introduced themselves and explained the significance of helpers in our lives. The enthusiasm and eagerness displayed by the children during the activity was remarkable.

The Career Workshop organized for Class X students of MBS International School on 19 October 2023 in the school auditorium on the topic ‘Stream Allocation’ was a highly informative and enlightening event which aimed at assisting students in making well-informed decisions about their stream allocation. The workshop featured a distinguished expert in the field, Mr. Rohit Prasad, from the prestigious institution IIFM (Pratham).
The workshop commenced with a warm welcome of the Resource Person, Mr. Rohit Prasad who is a renowed expert in the field of education. Mr. Rohit Prasad emphasized the significance of stream selection and its profound impact on future career opportunities. He highlighted the need for students to have a deep understanding of their interests, strengths, and aspirations in order to make the right choices.
The resource person provided invaluable insights into the various streams available, including Science, Commerce, and Humanities. He discussed the subjects offered in each stream and highlighted the associated career prospects. Additionally, Mr. Prasad shed light on emerging fields and opportunities in the ever-evolving job market.
The workshop concluded with a Question and Answer session, providing students with the opportunity to seek clarification on any doubts or concerns they had regarding stream allocation. Mr. Rohit Prasad's expertise and guidance left a lasting impression, equipping students with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their academic future. It was a significant step towards empowering our students to shape their careers with confidence.
The workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by the Senior Coordinator.

MBS International School's commemoration of Dussehra on October 20, 2023, was an exuberant display of cultural richness and enthusiasm. The special assembly, hosted by the students of Tagore House, was a vibrant display of traditions that unified students from Classes Nursery -XII, teachers, and management in celebrating the timeless victory of good over evil.
Commencing with the sacred Gayatri Mantra, the assembly featured an inspiring speech underlining the significance of Dussehra and the paramount importance of virtuous conduct. The day's thought urged all to introspect on the values of truth, courage, and compassion. Poem recitations gracefully wove together the festival's theme, while young students from Pre Primary brought to life characters from the Ramayana.
The resonant voices of School Choir filled the air as they harmonized, epitomizing the festive joy and cultural fervour of Durga Puja and Dussehra. A spirited dance celebrated the vibrant customs and rituals of Dussehra, followed by a compelling role-play depicting the triumph of righteousness over evil.
Ravana Dahan was a symbolic reminder to incinerate ego, hatred, and anger, akin to the effigy of Ravana, on this auspicious occasion. Mr. Atul Wadhawan, the School Principal, lauded the students for their active participation, emphasizing the significance of cultural celebrations within the school.
This Dussehra Special Assembly left an indelible mark, reiterating the importance of upholding values and embracing our rich cultural heritage. The event concluded with the resonant strains of the national anthem.

MBS International School conducted a ‘Character Portrayal Activity’ for the students of class I and II on 17 October and 19 October 2023 respectively.
The students of class I showcased their spoken skills as they selected a character from one of their family members and provided a comprehensive description of their personality. Whereas, the students of class II came dressed up as their favourite cartoon character. They mimicked their character's voice and enacted short scenes, offering peers a joyful glimpse into the cartoon world.The students enjoyed the activity and displayed their talent confidently.

A great neighbourhood is important to have a good life because it helps in providing a safe and secure atmosphere. To familiarize students of Nursery and Kindergarten about neighbourhood places, MBS International School conducted ‘My Neighbourhood Places' activity on 17 October 2023. Students were informed about the significance of neighbourhood places through PPT’s and flash cards. They also pasted the pictures of places of neighbourhood like hospitals, fire stations and markets on sheets, thereby enhancing their fine motor skills. The teacher also emphasized on the role of helpers in different neighbourhood places. With the activity, our little MBSians learned to live in a clean, safe and friendly neighbourhood.

MBS International School strives to take learning beyond classroom. Thereby to promote the holistic development of the children, the school organised an Educational Excursion to ISKCON Temple, Dwarka for the students of Nursery and Kindergarten on Wednesday, 18 October 2023. The students were familiarized with the concept of neighborhood places and spent their time in the calm and serene environs of the temple. They were encouraged to sing and dance on the chants of ‘Hare Krishna Hare Rama’ followed by the ‘Gallery Walk’ where pictures from various Iskcon temples and Lord Krishna’s life were displayed. Delicious prasad was also served which was relished by the young devotees. The visit was highly appreciated and enjoyed by our little ones and is an apt example of learning beyond the classrooms.

14 October 2023, MBS International School Dwarka organised PTM for classes VI-VIII along with an Educational Exhibition. It was a remarkable showcase of scientific ingenuity and curiosity, a thought-provoking exploration of societal dynamics and human experiences. The event aimed to promote the spirit of scientific inquiry, and innovation and encourage critical thinking. It featured a diverse range of exhibits and interactive displays that captured the imagination of visitors. Notable exhibits included the successful launch of Chandrayaan 3 which was captivating. The students presented a wide array of innovative models. It also showcased historical artifacts, documents, and interactive displays that provided a deeper understanding of our collective history, culture, and heritage.
The exhibition encouraged interactive learning. It was not limited to students but also engaged parents. Apart from models, the students also organised visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their working models. It encouraged parents to actively participate in their child’s education and allowed them to witness the school’s commitment to holistic learning. The Educational Exhibition also helped the students build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among themselves. The Science Exhibition showcased the wonders of Scientific Discovery and the Social Science Exhibition encouraged reflection on the human experience. The event served as a reminder of the importance of both scientific progress and social awareness in our world.
The School's Educational Exhibition was a resounding success, effectively showcasing the school's dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals with a deep appreciation for learning.
