seong ho looked up from his spot on the step, eyes watching the small girl playing with the jump rope in front of him. a bright smile formed on her lips as she counted out loud the amount of times she managed to make it over the skipping rope. a small smile flashed on the boys face before his head slowly turned to the left, watching the person come closer. 

the pocket knife he usually carried in his hands as he folded and unfolded it to keep his hands busy. “soyeon.” the older boy called to the small child who stopped spinning the rope to look at him. “go inside.” when the small child protested, the corners of his lips turned upward a tad, offering a tiny smile to his sister. “please??” with a nod and pout the girl listened to him, dragging her rope along with her as she went. 

pushing himself to stand, seong ho turned to look at the person that was now in front of him. his usual hard look crossing over his soft features. “what do you want??”

“i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to intrude, but it couldn’t be helped.” the woman spoke, offering a soft and mildly apologetic smile to the boy. “the deadline is near so you are needed at the moment.” she explained. andrew, the leader of the gang, chimera, that reyna belonged to had sent her in a collaborative effort with another gang associate in order to recover some illegal weaponry for them. since her friend wished to play nice, he specifically sent over reyna who was admittedly one of the more kinder of the members of chimera.  reyna wasn’t exactly put off from the response seongho offered to her, all considering this was usual within the business.  ( @nscmnia​ )
