i don’t ship Calzona, but i respect anyone who does. I think Arizona deserves better than Callie and they were so toxic for each other. And idk i don’t think they have much in common. But I just wanna know what do you think Arizona saw in Callie? not talking about her looks because Callie’s really pretty. And why do you ship them or what makes you ship them?

but as for why do ship calzona? i decided to ask a variety of people who love calzona and i’ll just give you their far more eloquent answers.

“reason to ship them it's that relationships aren't perfect and i don't relate to picture perfect people but rather i like to see two flawed people who love each other in spite of their flaws navigate life, hurt and heartbreak and at the end of the day still choose to come home to each other”

“i think one of the big misconceptions is that calzona don’t have anything in common because they’re dispositionally different. they have so much in common when you look past the “grumpy x sunshine” thing— they’re both stubborn and meddlesome (they love mutually interfering in people’s lives it’s like a bonding activity for then), both judgmental and fundamentally moral. calzona, when they’re not dealing with the fallout of an major recent trauma, are both people who cling to their respective ideologies and have specific ideas of right and wrong that line up perfectly with each other. calzona sit in giggling, mutual judgement of the world. they have *so much* in common”
