Why has all the McFly fans gone and turned into One Direction? I prefer it when I just had McFly on my dash. I also prefer listening to talented bands who are able to write their own music and play their on instruments rather than shitty ones who can't do any of that.

I actually think the McFly fanbase isn't that bad. At least it's not as bad as the 1D fandom.

we like mcfly, we spend too much money on a site that does fuck all, we'll follow them around the country and spend way too much money on travel, tickets, hotels, we will buy every single album, we will pretend to care about tom's cats, we will queue for way too many hours on way too dodgy streets in way too dodgy towns/cities. it takes a true mcfly fan to do all this and slag the boys off constantly but knowing deep down that they love them more than they probably should. Its fan life!

dougie poynter makes me want to be myself around everyone rather than shying away from that. if he can be himself wherever and whenever and everyone adores him to bits, as I do, then so can I.

david spearing makes mcfly seem less fun because he's a professional filmmaker and to get that point across he can't simply film mcfly doing what they do best, messing around or if he does, not for a long period of time. he films everything that can be taken seriously to show his 'professionalism' and that sucks

It's hard to find people to trust in this fanbase, a lot of them people are just bitching about eachother.

they've changed but in a way that they're slightly more mature. they know fully what they're doing now, much more professional but they're still childish and the closest set of mates ever. we think they've changed a lot and aren't as fun because of their 'girlfriends' but they've had girlfriends over the years, everyone just believes this because they've got better things to do with their time hence why we see less videos of them acting 'childish' or fun
