I’m leaving this blog behind. It’s run its course and now I’ll be moving onto quieter pastures. Long time coming this day was but I can’t say I’m glad, but I am kind of relieved to finally lay this chapter to rest. It’s been a thought in the back of my mind for a decent length of time. To deactivate? At this stage, it would be a disservice since its fun to look back on it like an old album. But to carry on all that history? I find it akin to wearing my teenage years like a skin and refusing to move forward. We’re such creatures of habit. And tumblr has always been one of my worst habits.

Not to say I haven’t learnt quite a bit in the time spent here. Mixing personal and art ain’t a good idea for longevity or sanity. Running multiple instances is kind of torturous without a real intention to stick at it. The internet is so vast with too much information to handle... and also a huge waste of time. Like really how many tutorials saved to the backlog actually get written down somewhere? Or practiced? It’s kind of funny like that. Don’t get me started on the nature of clout neither. I know myself too well to know that my head inflates too quickly with other people’s intentions for my art to really leave much room for expressing myself. And what’s left to express myself is that there is nothing left to express.

But like anything, I cut loose my ties to this blog in the hopes that I can be reborn again elsewhere in private. Away from prying eyes so that I can blossom quietly into a person I can enjoy living with instead of trying so hard to be someone other people can enjoy.

Anyways I’m leaving this up as an archive. I won’t be back to post art here. All projects I promised are discontinued. The slate is being wiped clean so to speak. As for other avenues where you can find my work, you can check my carrd but honestly I barely post to my other media anyways. Maybe one day I’ll restart again with better intentions.
