hey y’all!! it’s kris again, back w another baby!! this is melinda and below the cut is some info about her!! feel free to read and then like this if you wanna plot or pop over to my messages!! i’ll have some wc’s at the end of this too for y’all. k thx ily!!

☆ · ˚ . ✦ . ˚ { LILI REINHART, 24, SHE/HER} spotted! MELINDA BELLE making their way down the streets of the ues. i swear, every time i hear GREEN LIGHT by LORDE, i think of them. the FEMALE is currently a PERSONAL ASSISTANT. though everyone knows them for being ENTHUSIASTIC & LOYAL, page six says they could be SECRETIVE & SENSITIVE. according to gossip girl, SHE ALMOST DIED FROM A DRUG OVERDOSE FOUR YEARS AGO, but that could be a rumor.

so melinda is a lil gem tbh. she’s spunky and sassy, but doesn’t act like she’s better than anyone bc she doesn’t see herself as better than anyone.

she was born into a pretty well-off family in pennsylvania. both her parents were lawyers and she and her sister were the little golden children of their small town. but like every golden child, melinda fell from grace at some point and began dating a guy named christian when she started high school. the relationship was an emotional rollercoaster ride for melinda and her parents never approved, so the two ran away together when she was 18 and he was 20, emptying melinda’s trust fund and moving to new york where she attended community college.

the money went a lot quicker than they expected and they were struggling for a while to make ends meet. melinda couldn’t find work that would pay her well enough on top of taking college classes and christian was aggravated by it. they stayed in new york together for a year before he cheated on her and ultimately left her for the other girl.

melinda fell off the deep end at this point and really began her party girl phase. she waitressed most nights and attended classes still, but the nights she wasn’t working, she was experimenting with everything she could. her grades were beginning to suffer, as were her relationships. she pushed everyone away from her. it ended up with her nearly dying from a drug overdose when she was 20.

after her near death experience, she began trying to get her life together. she was broke, she was depressed, and she had no one, but she wanted to change all of this. she eventually transferred to nyu and continued to attend classes for business until she graduated. she found a job as a personal assistant to warner valmont shortly after graduation and hasn’t looked back at her past since.

though she thinks about her past often, she has never told anyone about it, not even her boss who she’s quite close to. she still has no contact with her family and no idea how they all are, but she does her best to keep her mind off of it all.

she doesn’t party anymore, but she will have a drink every now and then at special events or at the end of a long day. but she never wants to slip back into her old ways again and disassociates herself with anyone that knew her from those days.

fuckbuddies -- bc even tho she’s a good girl she ain’t no saint. bonus points to the fuckbuddies that rly can’t stand each other but the chemistry is too good to not.
