The footage has leaked. Joost was disqualified because he didn't want to be filmed. We were kept in suspense for five hours, and told he was in a physical altercation. Then we're told it was Joost was threatening someone. Hear this: he did not want to be filmed and was filmed anyway, and the oh so threatening threat he made was his middle finger. Did not touch the woman, did not speak to her. A middle finger. Police got involved for THIS? We were in suspense for THIS?! Israel still gets to compete but Joost gets disqualified for his showing MIDDLE FINGER and gets the POLICE called on him. Fuck EBU.
i broke our internet when i felt like i had to be doing something on my computer. so i guess i'm reviewing everything i had already written for the minotaur au and write some more 🤷♂️
my friends playing through hzd and his computer should be able to run the game pretty smoothly but it keeps fucking it up and he sent me a screenshot and I have to keep restraining myself from looking at it because it makes me want to laugh so hard I throw up
The thing that makes me sad over Joost is that his song is about uniting and dedicated to his late father, and he did really manage to do it if I'm to believe some videos of his performance in the semi-finals; only to get disqualified in what I genuinely believe is an attempt to disrupt and divide.
Those reporters harassing them knew what they were doing. And I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it's Joost because the public loves him so much and had a decent chance to win
Okay so we're all in agreement that in a game that largely puts a great emphasis on the fact that Olympus's boons can be stolen and used by people other than Melinoe and that forces Melinoe to be more ruthless when interacting with these people that the final boss of Olympus is gonna be Zagreus no? Or a version of him either corrupted by his imprisonment or controlled by Chronos (or rather, escape Chronos's containment). Convenient, how we learn on the major assault on Mount Olympus but we don't know what is changing the tides per se.
I can see "Zagreus" stealing boons and other powers to fight Melinoe, maybe under influence, or the erroneous perception about her. Would be interesting.
