What’s holding me back or stopping me?

Personally there is many things that are holding me back from life. Many things that i haven’t really thought that would hold me back, but things has happened and i am still trying to continue. One thing would be myself because of everything i have been through the years, i learned to lose a  lot of confidence in myself and lost my self love and gained insecurities and more. When you're always feeling like your not enough or even if you don't even feel like you're worth it, sucks. Today im still trying to gain my confidence back and say i love myself. Another thing that has held me back for a while now is my mental issues. I have anxiety and depression and it started in grade nine when i started to get bullied and i was have personal issues with my family. It was hard and was really a struggle to go through the things i have gone through and still try to come up strong and continue to fight, i didn't know what it was at first and had to realize it after a while but i never thought it would have an impact on me like it would have. Today im still trying my best and im happy to say its been better. With all of these things that has happened to me, then i can say ive been through a lot and every time i wanted to give up and stop whatever has held me back i still grew to be stronger even though it was so very hard, im a better person and will do many things to change the world in one way or another because inside i know im special and i have to remember that. These were the things that held me back at one point.

Most bullies tell themselves they aren’t really bullies. The other person always had it coming. It was THEIR fault. For being weak. For not wearing the thing. For not doing the right thing.

The point of bullying.

It is only empowered when the bully has a certain amount of self-justification involved.

Listen.

It’s not okay to have your child be scared of you. That isn’t respect. That’s control. 

It’s not okay to have your child obey you at all times in order for you to love them. That isn’t high standards. That’s manipulation.

It’s not okay to force your child become what you wanted to become. That isn’t wanting the best for them. That’s living vicariously through them.

It’s not okay to take away your child’s basic needs as a punishment. That isn’t teaching them. That’s hindering them. 

It’s not okay to dictate your child’s sexuality or gender. That isn’t normalizing them. That’s repressing them.

It’s not okay to berate your child’s appearance or intelligence for being what you think is sub-par. That isn’t toughening them. That’s bullying them.

It’s not okay to take out your stress on your child. That isn’t parenting. That is abusing.

It’s completely okay to distance yourself from your parents. That’s not unloving. That, sometimes, is self care.

My Most Go To Song

The most go to song I go to is "Tori Kelly -Funny" because the song is a low beat and as well very soothing to the ears. Its soft and it has a smooth paste. This is my go to song because when I’m feeling down or sad, I can easily put on this song and it would make me feel better. This song helps me forget about things and everything that’s happening around me and it helps me stay calm. I can repeat this song over and over again and I won’t get tired of it. This song makes me feel relaxed. By listening to this song it tells a story to the listeners and even if it’s about love. It still is a story so simple but so intriguing. The slow and steady pastes of the acoustic is soft and settle with her voice. The words and lyrics are so strong personally, she basically says that “don’t give up, and keep going” but in a way for this generation viewers would understand. Overall this song is personally so beautiful and so calming. This song says so much with just the lyrics, this is my most go to song.
