Tales of the pesky ghost (true stories)
So we have a pesky house ghost named Jeff. You may ask how we know we have a ghost and more importantly how we know what his name is.
Well, I first became suspicious that we had a ghost when I went outside to water the plants only to find the door locked when I went to return inside. Now, I assure you this couldn’t have happened by accident. It’s a very heavy glass door and you have to physically push the lock up from the inside. No problem though, I simply reentered through the garage. Minor inconvenience.
This happened a few weeks later when I was outside with my son. We also noticed a stuffed animal perched on the power line outside. Hmm.
Just this week, we were outside swimming in the pool and I heard a clatter on the pool deck. I looked towards the sound and saw a red battery on the ground. Hmm. I walked out of the pool and saw two batteries and a plastic holder of sorts. I picked up all three pieces and returned the batteries to their home in the plastic doohickey. Where did it come from? I quickly realized the doohickey fit perfectly into a device attached to our water spigot. I snapped it back in place. Pesky ghost.
One day a kid friend was over. He announced that they had a poltergeist named Jeff. Apparently this ghost used to be a human that they knew and now haunted them. I can only surmise that Jeff followed him over one day and thought he would pull pranks on us too. It sounded plausible.
Today, I was on a zoom call with a colleague. I was mentioning that I had recently started working with a guy named Jeff (unrelated). At that moment, I saw a smoke like swirl float behind my left shoulder in the zoom image. Hmm. Seemed someone heard his name and popped up to check it out.
Well that’s the end of the story so far. I’ll keep you posted when things develop.
If you happen to be a psychic, feel free to ask a few questions and help me figure out what this Jeff guy wants, in anything.
