One of my best Milky Way shots !! My journey around the world

1 year ago, day per day, I came back to France after 6 months around the world, and 2 weeks at home in Tunisia... 16 countries(+3 layover) more than 65 cities visited, 12 islands ... 181 day until I reached Tunisia .. During This time I met a lot of people, some are already friends, I've adapted my itinerary to meet them, others I just met during my travels ... I kept contact with many, who become friends, some visited me in Paris, other will do in the future inchallah.. I flew for more than 101 hours, 18 flights and 17 different companies. I took 35 busses, for 189 hours, 6 boats for 98 hours, 9 trains for 48 hours, and I rented cars and been driving/co-driving for 60 hours (4450 km) ... I slept in more than 85 different locations, average 2 nights per location, the longest stay in the same place was in Moshi, Tanzania 7 nights (due to health issues). Here's where I spent the 181 nights : hostels 76 nights, hotels 28 (not the kind of hotel you can imagine), 28 nights at friend's houses (yeah, I know people everywhere 😋), 19 homestays, 11 nights in the cars I rented, 5 in buses, 5 in Boats, 4 nights camping, 4 nights AirBnb, 3 nights in the airports and 1 night flying. I've learned a lot during this trip. I had the time to think about a lot of stuff, set new goals in life, change my perspective. I've been through many dangerous and unpleasant situations, lost and dehydrated in Vinales (Cuba), banned entry to the US and lost 2 flights, car accident in Tasmania, the car went upside down, and a lot of health issues in Africa... The most dangerous was the neuropsychic effects of medication I took for malaria ... Whatever it happens, the most important is to remain calm, there is a solution for every problem, and whatever happens, the most important is to stay alive and healthy... Never get upset, and never panic, the money you'll lose, you'll work and get more, the plan changes are opportunities to try other things... It's all about your mindset, all what you need is to be positive, that's what will make everything fun, even troubles.. Friends asked me why not posting in Instagram, it seems too girly for me, and used for show off, more than anything else ... I may end up creating an Instagram account, what do you think ? Some asked me and wonder if I got bored, the answer is yes, but it was really for short times, and that's normal, we're humans, it's in our nature to get bored, even if we are doing what we do... Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing there, in the middle of nowhere, especially when in trouble, or when in boring cities, but shortly later things get better, and I have fun. I met so many people, and tried to discuss with them as much as possible. I came with conclusion that people are similar everywhere, our experiences may vary, we don't have to judge from our experience, because it's not representative of the truth, not always at least... Wherever I go, people complain, but for different reasons, and different   levels... Humans are never satisfied, and keep focusing on what the other have instead of what they do.. They never think how lucky they are by having what they have, and when I say that I mean it. Some have wonderful careers, others have money, others wonderful places where to live, others have wonderful families, etc. If we focus enough, we'll find that we have something or many that other people are missing, we just have to enjoy it, whatever if what we expect will come or not.. Now 1 year after, I didn't realise any of the 3 major things I decided when around the world, but "Hakuna Matata" (wich mean "No problem" in Swahili). I can deal with any situation ...  Time will make my dreams true inchallah. I'm grateful that I had the chance to do this, I'm grateful to all those who I met and made my trip better. Those who want to do the same, it's possible, just you need to do the right steps ... You’ll never feel free as you’ll feel in such journey. My advice, be positive, have fun, and prepare the future ...
