रोहतक, 27 अक्टूबर 2023: मैक्स सुपर स्पेशलिटी अस्पताल शालीमार बाग, नई दिल्ली ने आज शहर में एक जन जागरूकता सत्र का आयोजन किया, जिसमें स्ट्रोक के बढ़ते मामलों पर विचार-विमर्श किया गया. साथ ही स्ट्रोक आने के बाद विंडो पीरियड के अंदर मरीजों के लिए समय पर इलाज कैसे लाइफ सेविंग हो सकता है, इसके बारे में भी बताया गया.

इस सत्र का संचालन मैक्स सुपर स्पेशलिटी अस्पताल शालीमार बाग में न्यूरोलॉजी के डायरेक्टर डॉक्टर के. के. जिंदल और न्यूरोसर्जरी व न्यूरो-इंटरवेंशन के प्रिंसिपल कंसल्टेंट डॉक्टर शैलेश जैन और फिजियोथेरेपी एंड रिहैबिलिटेशन की इंचार्ज डॉक्टर लतिका अरोड़ा ने किया. इन विशेषज्ञों ने न सिर्फ दशकों से विभिन्न स्ट्रोक मरीजों का इलाज किया है, बल्कि इस अवसर के जरिए लोगों को ये भी बताया कि अगर स्ट्रोक के कारण कोई इमरजेंसी आए तो तुरंत क्या उपाय करें.

विश्व स्ट्रोक दिवस से पहले, मैक्स अस्पताल शालीमार बाग के डॉक्टरों ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि कम से कम 70-80% स्ट्रोक के मामलों की रोकथाम की जा सकती है और उनका इलाज भी किया जा सकता है. इससे ये पता चलता है कि जागरूकता एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है. तकनीक में प्रगति की मदद से स्ट्रोक का न केवल इलाज किया जा सकता है, बल्कि ज्यादातर मामलों में स्थिति बदली जा सकती है.

सत्र के दौरान मैक्स सुपर स्पेशलिटी अस्पताल शालीमार बाग में न्यूरोलॉजी के डायरेक्टर डॉक्टर के. के. जिंदल ने कहा, ''स्ट्रोक एक मेडिकल इमरजेंसी वाली स्थिति होती है और इसमें तुरंत मरीज पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत पड़ती है. अगर तुरंत इलाज मिलता है तो ब्रेन को होने वाला डैमेज कम किया जा सकता है और रिकवरी के चांस भी बेहतर हो जाते हैं. स्ट्रोक की स्थिति आने के बाद करीब 3 से 4.5 घंटे का जो टाइम होता है वो बेहद अहम होता है जिसे गोल्डन आवर भी कहा जाता है. इस गोल्डन पीरियड के दौरान ही मरीज को तुरंत मेडिकल हेल्प की जरूरत पड़ती है. खासकर आइसेमिक स्ट्रोक के मामले में क्लॉट डिसॉल्विंग और क्लॉट रिमूवल जैसी प्रक्रिया के जरिए आइसेमिक स्ट्रोक के मामले में अच्छे रिजल्ट पाए जा सकते हैं. स��ट्रोक के बाद तुरंत इलाज मिलना जरूरी होता है क्योंकि इससे दिमाग का डैमेज काफी कम किया जा सकता है और रिकवरी के भी चांस बन जाते हैं. स्ट्रोक को कंट्रोल करने के लिए थ्रांबोलिटिक थेरेपी की जाती है जिसमें रक्त प्रवाह को बहाल करने के लिए स्ट्रोक के शुरुआती टाइम में ही क्लॉट डिसॉल्व करने वाली दवा दी जाती है. साथ ही एंटीकोआगुलंट्स और एंटीप्लेटलेट दवाओं का इस्तेमाल कर मैकेनिकल थ्रोम्बेक्टोमी की जाती है और ब्लड प्रेशर को बहुत प्रभावी ढंग से कंट्रोल किया जाता है.''

स्ट्रोक के मामले में सर्जरी भी की जाती है. हालांकि, सर्जरी बहुत ही विशेष परिस्थिति में की जाती है ताकि स्ट्रोक के बाद ब्रेन डैमेज होने से बचाया जा सके, ब्लड फ्लो को बहाल किया जा सके और अन्य समस्याओं को मैनेज किया जा सके. सर्जरी के प्रकार, इसकी गंभीरता और मरीज की अपनी कंडीशन के हिसाब से ही सर्जरी की जाती है.

मैक्स हॉस्पिटल शालीमार बाग में न्यूरोसर्जरी और न्यूरो इंटरवेंशन के प्रिंसिपल कंसल्टेंट डॉक्टर शैलेश जैन ने कहा, ''स्ट्रोक के मामले में जब सर्जरी की जाती है तो उसमें कैरोटिड धमनियों से प्लेक को हटाया जाता है, नैरो कैरोटिड धमनियों को चौड़ा करना और स्टेंट लगाना, कमजोर ब्रेन ब्लड वेसल्स के चारों ओर क्लिप रखना, एन्यूरिज्म रप्चर को रोकने के लिए कॉइल डालना, असामान्य रक्त वाहिकाओं को हटाना या ब्लॉक करना, क्लॉट हटाना, वाहिकाओं की मरम्मत करना, या दबाव से राहत देना और शारीरिक रूप से गंभीर इस्केमिक स्ट्रोक के कारण बड़े थक्कों को हटाया जाता है. सर्जरी के बाद रिहैबिलिटेशन बेहद अहम होता है, फिर चाहे किसी भी तरह का स्ट्रोक रहा हो. इसमें मरीज को फिजिकल थेरेपी, ऑक्यूपेशनल थेरेपी, स्पीच थेरेपी, कॉग्निटिव रिहैबिलिटेशन और मनोवैज्ञानिक तौर पर भी सपोर्ट दिया जाता है.
