Soo, I found a ermm, rather interesting Chica the Chicken toy at Hot Topic  one time (at least I think it was a Hot Topic) and these types of toys are supposedly “Scalers” that are supposed to hang onto things and it looks, erm, rather awkward, I dunno maybe I’m overthinking it, but I just thought I’d share this with ya folks and take what you will from this.

The Not-really Knight

Once apon a time, many many years ago a woman named Hilara had three children. Aldis who was destine to become a baker, Maerwynn who was brought up to be a knight, and Maddox who was born to be in the ocean… literally.

Maddox: Mcscuse me?

Uhm I’m just saying that you’re interesting and unique.

Maddox: How, by trying to be funny about it?

Well, I mean…

Maddox: Listen, I’m part shark and hunan. I have some other animal DNA in me, it’s a long story.

Yeah, can I do my job now?

Maddox: I’m just saying, that’s me. Don’t mess.

Ok, ok. I got it shark boy.

Maddox: (-_-) Really…?

THESE three siblings grew up with nothing but training. They were expected to do great things. And well, at least they tried. Aldis was given the nick name “The muffin man.” Because-

Aldis: Because I mostly bake muffins….

Maddox was given the nickname “Shark Boy” for obvious reasons and Maerwynn… Poor Maerwynn was given the nickname “The Not-Really Knight.”

Maerwynn: (;-;)

Well, she doesn’t have uhm…

Maerwynn: (T-T)

Ok she’s very sensitive and gentle, not considered “Knight Material” Anyway…

Aldis: Aren’t you gonna say what we look like?

Do I have to.

Maerwynn: (puppy eyes) please.

Fine, all three of them are half Vietnamese. Maerwynn has green eyes and Brunette hair, Aldis and Maddox both have black hair and green eyes. Both are very masculine and Maerwynn is average with curves. Maerwynn was always more accustomed to doing things more fit for men such as, baking, sewing, cleaning, child care, and other various things. Unfortunately for Maerwynn she already has two brothers that will do that in the family. She had to become a knight to protect her family and the Queen’s family. Maerwynn grew up with her best friend May. They were always very close through thick and thin.

May: I’m going with you.

Maerwynn: You can’t!

May: if you think I’m not you’re crazy!-

AYE AYE AYE YALL ARE GETTING AHEAD OF ME. Yeesh. -sigh- So Maerwynn wanted to become a knight for the family, to follow in her mother’s footsteps. She went to the queen to see if there was a quest she could tackle to be a true knight. Though princess Celby had other plans…

Maerwynn: (running through the kingdom to the castle) My queen! (She bows in front of the queen. )

Queen Reina Charles: (in a sinister tone) Hello Ms. Bennett. What can I assist you with?

Queen Reina often talks with a sinister tone. It’s kind of how her voice is.

Maerwynn: I’d like to become a knight my Queen.

At this moment Celby’s idea strikes while her brother Prince Cadby is scratching himself and thinks no one notices… hehe.

Celby: (whispers to her mother)

Queen R.C.: (whispers back with little discussion. ) Maerwynn as you know I’m growing in to my old age and someone will need to take over the throne.

Maerwynn: (her mind: Don’t tell me I’m marrying Cadby please don’t tell me I’m marrying Cadby. PLEASE.)

Queen R.C.: You will need to find and rescue five princes, then you shall teach them the ways of the work a man should always do and bring them back here. Then you will need to find princesses that could be suitors for my precious Cadby. One my children have made their decisions you will take the remaining persons back to Their home kingdoms.

Maerwynn: …

Celby: If you’d like to become a true knight I expect you to do this task.

Maerwynn: I will do only the best for My Queen and the Royal Children.

Maerwynn headed out of the castle with her new quest in mind, she told get family and started packing for travle. She gathered her things including her deceased father’s lucky bracelet. She said goodbye for now to her Mother, Stepfather, and brothers. She took her stuff and headed to her horse. May stopped her and asked her why she’s saddling up Snow Dancer (Maerwynn’s black Horse speckled from head to hoof with white dots. She looks like she’s prancing when she runs. ) Maerwynn explained the mission to her…

May: I’m going with you.

Maerwynn: You can’t!

May: if you think I’m not you’re crazy!

Maerwynn: You need to stay here for Al! To protect him!

May: He’s a strong boy he can take care of himself, and he’s got Maddox!

Maerwynn: But what if you get hurt!

May: I’d rather me than you!

Maerwynn: What about Aldis!

May:…

Maerwynn: May please, just stay…

May: bu-

Maerwynn: I’ll be ok, but you need to stay here.

May: but she’s sending you on like eight missions at once!

Maerwynn: It’s to become a knight and staying loyal to the queen is what knights do!

May: She’s trying to kill you! KILL YOU!

Maerwynn: YOU NEED TO SAY BEHIND MAY!

May:… But we’re always together… sisters forever…

Maerwynn: I know May… I love you too, but I need to do this. Take care of your brother and my brothers for me. Would'ya

May:… Yes…

Maerwynn: I love you May (she hugs her) I’ll be back…

May: (hugs back tearing) don’t die dimwit…

Maerwynn: I won’t Mom.

May: (sighs)

Maerwynn took SD and headed out she had a good solid start heading out with a map for a few hours until they stumbled upon a new village that wasn’t quite a kingdom with a sign that read, “Wolves Houl Village.” They were about to continue heading out until they heard a woman’s voice yelling.

Mystery woman: IN THE NAME OF QUEPID STOP RIGHT THERE!

Before Wynn could even get back on SD she responded.

Maerwynn: (puts her hands up and turns facing the woman.)
